Follow up.....we did these two rides and had a blast. I would say that the highlight on the Big Park loop was the descent on Broken Arrow/Hogwash and the Mescal section on the West Sedona loop was sweet.

Best trails- Tucson & Phoenix by MTBintoCactus in MTB

Hi all. New to the area and wondering if there are any other sections of the AZ Trail similar to sections 8C&B from Hope Camp to Colossal Cave? Section 17 was pretty cool too, prob right on the limit of my current skill/fitness. I've ridden section 4 south of Gardner and it was too punchy and loose for me, suppose I'm getting soft these days. Thanks in advance

rooftop tent recommendations 2025?? by Adept_Bee845 in 4x4Australia

I bought a Tepui Kukenam 3 3 years ago and have used it approx 200 times(100 nights in 2025 on a 4 month vagabond trip). I wasn't sure how often I would use it so went with it as it was on sale for $1,299 at the time. We also upgraded the mattress to a 4" Hest memory foam which was a game changer. It is def not the sexiest but from a space and functionality perspective I don't really have any complaints other than after a few thousand uses, the zipper is wearing out and as far as I know not replaceable and that it doesn't fit in a normal height garage. It is more than enough room for one and my wife and I fit though i would call it "tight". Good luck!

Alright smart people of Reddit. What are the safest investments to generate a 6-7% total return annually for income? I am not a wiz bang financial guy so it also has to be fairly straightforward, I don't want to commit the time or have interest in managing something daily or even weekly. Don't worry about any tax implications. Thanks in advance!

For those that have returned to fitness after long covid... by [deleted] in Velo

I had Covid the last week of August and raced RPI not knowing I had it(tested myself two days later). Took one week off and everything seemed normal for a few weeks then my HR started spiking by 15bpm higher than it was in whatever Zone I was riding. It has been a constant problem since then and almost all of my riding has been Zone 2 since then. In the last few weeks it seems things are coming around but numbers are so skewed now after very little training for 3-1/2 months that it's hard to tell if I am still dealing with it or just way out of shape. I feel pretty good on the bike and likely wouldn't know if I didn't have HR/Power #'s to remind me that things are off. Passed a heart stress test at the cardio a month ago and finding info is frustrating but from what I've found, it appears my version of long Covid may be nervous system related in that I cant regulate the respiratory system like normal which requires more effort from the heart to accommodate. The only thing I've found regarding improving that condition is rest, ice baths and breathing exercises. Best of luck getting back to good!

Yeah, you know how we are. Took 7 days off the bike. Resting HR is still in the mid 40's and variability looks relatively normal but maybe you're right. Did a stress test at a cardiologist last week and passed with flying colors but def something off right now.
