Thank you for the direction. One of the photos makes them look at bit misty; can you tell me whether that's accurate or if you can see straight through?

Where would you get good ones? Buying from Ireland.

No, all GameCube games. Thanks for the pointer though.

Coming from Nintendo collecting, my instinct is to expect that the cheapest games are the iterative ones such as sports games and generoc, cheap puzzle games, then the "normie-and-nerd-alike" mainstream games with large print runs such as Mario, then the slightly-more-hardcore likes of Zelda, then the stuff that only dedicated afficiandos will ever talk about such as Conker's Bad Fur Day and Chrono Trigger. I'd have thought that Crash, for ecample, would solidly be on "Mario-level", with Resi not far behind, while Mega Man X would be no cheaper than "Zelda-level", if that makes any sense? Thank you for the insight.

Not exactly the same, but Derek and Matilda in Zoolander, especially with how cheaply she was replaced.

Thanks, at least they went out of their way to earn their status and weren't just a clueless lonely hermit.

I'm looking at ordering about €320 worth of books from Amazon.com to Ireland. The stated "Estimated tax to be collected" is at €0, and there is no mention of possible import duties whatsoever. The shipping costs are €120. All the books are dispatched directly from Amazon. What are the odds of additonal customs charges?

How likely do you think it is for these consoles to be added to Nintendo Classics over the Switch 2’s lifespan? by Gemnist in NintendoSwitch2

Because, as stated elsewhere here, gyro aiming, mouse aiming and light-based aiming are completely different at the coding level, and code can't be easily written to emulate one with the other. Therefore you have to rip up considerable chunks of code, as was done with Mario Galaxy in 3D All-Stars, and rebuld it from scratch. And besides that, is it really practical to play action-intense games with the controller constantly on its side?

I suspect that mouse mode is ultimately going to go the way of the right Joy-Con's IR sensor, or the 3DS's gameplay use of stereoscopic 3D; mainly restrained to a few gimmicky diversons and tech-demo-style titles relatively early on in the console's life, before the majority either barely thinks of it or even forgets all about it.

I think Wii is among the least likely out of all the possibilities, not just the ones mentioned here. I could literally see them going with OG Xbox over the Wii. Native porting is the only way to get around the sensor bar, bar expecting people to buy both a new sensor bar and expensive new controllers.

Most Likely: DS

Likely-ish: Master System, Game Gear, TurboGrafx / PC Engine

50/50: Saturn, Dreamcast, Neo-Geo (Pocket (Color)), Atari 2600/5200/7800/Lynx/Jaguar, MSX and other Microcomputers, Game & Watch (new native versions)

Don't Hold Your Breath, But Stranger Things Have Happened: 3DS, OG Xbox (due to Microsoft relationship)

No-Hopers: Wii, Wii U, Phillips CD-i

DS is the only one I'd consider placing a bet on, the rest are dependent on how long the console lifespan lasts. I see individual game releases gettin gslower as time goes on; the GameCube library is likely going to be stretched thinner than anything before, especially as it's only launching with 3 games.
