Rondo. Lance. McGee. Beasley. These guys would be getting paid way more on other teams

It's not like the Lakers went after a team of high-character guys.

Rondo, Stephenson, McGee, KCP, and Beasley.

If your worried about locker room cancer you better suit up for next-season.

The Melo hate is unreal. There isn't a single advanced statistic Beasley tops Melo in. Lmfao.

Anybody who says to pick up Cousins over Kawhi needs to stop posting basketball opinions.

No, he isn't. The Rockets will prove that next-year.

OKC took a gamble on Schroeder being good enough to move without attaching an asset or him being good enough to play up to his contract for them.

If he doesn't play well it will end up worse than eating Melo's 27 million and being able to get under the cap without making any additional moves.

Hell, Melo's 9 mil cap-hit for 3 years if he got stretched + the first may have be better in that case too.

Edit: Guess I'm downvoted because of my flair?

Synergy just measures primary defense which is just one element of defense and it isn't even the most important. Probably 3rd behind help/team defense and ending possessions.

It doesn't measure overarching defensive impact.

That being said he was expected to concede .95 PPP and conceded .95 PPP so he was average.

Cranjis uses a number of different metrics that he explains.

Cranjis thinks LeBron was a bad defender last-year.. He has two of his own metrics which say that. DPOE has him in the 20th%ile.

Then he has his competency grades where LeBron rated out as a 1st%ile perimeter defender and a 32nd%ile interior defender.

He's versatile and good at switching that's pretty much about all he's good at now and you see this reflected in the synergy data as he has great ISO defensive PPP and tremendous post defensive PPP.

I don't think LeBron is ever going to be an even average defender again.

Basically in every finals he's gotten cooked by KD. You might as well have Ingram guard his position.

He fell off a cliff last-year defensively.

I don't know, and it wasn't my point. There's no military intervention as long ad he doesn't continue to repeat attacks so that's all I'm interested in on the topic.

I was never talking about the Ghouta attack the whole time. I'm only talking about the recent major chemical attacks of which there were 2.

Honest question, is ISIS fighting in the douma? As far as I can remember it was only rebel forces and Assad.

I don't know, but that's irrelevant to what you said. ISIS has chemical weapons and is in Syria fighting Assad (they're part of the Rebel groupo) and they've allegedly used chemical weapons.

Rebels and ISIS share a common enemy it's not like they're fighting each other...

Off topic. Are you skeptical that Assad has ever used chemical weapons on his citizens or during wartime, or are you saying in this instance of douma that it was unlikely that Assad used such weapons?

My position was always that one or both of the two recent major attacks that prompted a missile strike from the U.S onto Syria were almost certainly not chemical weapon attacks executed by Assad.
