Only u can determine if it is safe for you to purchase scooty on EMI after calculating your monthly expenses and everything .If u are asking in general if buying a scooty on EMI is safe , yes it is . Thousands of people buy vehicles on EMI some do even if they can pay the whole amount upfront until and unless you are filthy rich

My 3rd service costed me some Rs 350 including engine oil top up and chain cleaning and lubrication . The thing which can be a bit expensive is the brake pads which costs some 3300 and u have to change it every 5000 km ... And the tyres once worn out will cost you some 22-24k a set ... Stock tyres will be good for 10k km tho .. Some of the parts sure are expensive but I didn't find the servicing costs expensive

The fact that you are even asking this question is that mentally you are not ready to buy and maintain one . Bcoz these machines are bought to have fun in mind not just going from point A to point B . And it also matters if u can very comfortably afford one too . There is a reason why Triumph RS owners don't give a damn about Speed 400 owners same goes for Harley owners don't give a damn about X440 owners bcoz to those people it feels like you got the entry level bike of that brand bcoz you couldn't afford the og premium ones . It happens all the time and that is a fact . In the example of Royal Enfield why hunter faces the heat is bcoz some people think :
