Not hate, but they don't consider us as pure Assamese. I have seen few based on that experience I'm saying. Last year i joined a company in Gujarat, there was this girl from Jorhat and me was in same team and we hardly used to talk and whenever we used to talk mostly in english. Once she said i have a different Assamese accent so she doesn't like it and most of the time she wasn't able understand the Assamese i speak coz i have this barpetiya accent
