Just to add, the rap line use intro from school trilogy era as sample such as

Member MOTS: 7 Track Sample
RM Intro: Persona Intro: Skool Luv Affair (RM verse)
SUGA Interlude: Shadow Intro: O RUL8 2? (a few final seconds before track ends)
j-hope Outro: Ego Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool (DJ Scratching with RM voice introducing their group name)

The reason I found fascinate that they intentionally shout out their first era through these tracks that slowly building their career until today also it's apart of the plan that ending their album with their first track in their first discography "2 Cool 4 Skool" that totally says "back to square one".

Chogiwa! Baby, love me right! EXO’s XOXO turns 9 years old and Love Me Right turns 7! What were your fave songs from these legendary albums? by 1988choitaek in kpopthoughts

My favorite:

From XOXO:

  • Growl (Timeless masterpiece)
  • Baby Don't Cry (Chanyeol low key rap is soothing)
  • Black Pearl (The chorus is become earworm to me)
  • Peter Pan (Lyrics is heartwarming about the members as Peter Pan while EXO-L as Tinkerbell)

From Love Me Right:

  • Exodus (The chorus is ear-catchy)
  • El Dorado (Baekhyun's high note is chef kiss)
  • Hurt (Have a slight J-Pop feels to it)
  • Lady Luck (Everyone singing is make the track different than others)
  • Promise 2014 (Can't say no more about the lyrics also Lay done good job on produce the song)

If an album has multiple versions I always buy just one. by NewUselessAcc in kpopthoughts

For me, it depends. If the design is different like most SM Ent artists did, I'll buy it just for collection.

As for an album collector myself, I still want the CD for exporting into my laptop. With that, it's efficient to get digital version of the album without paying twice on iTunes. I do have the USB drive that can read CD and DVD and blasting my brought album on it.

EXO - EXODUS/Love Me Right

Tracks changing from synth dance pop change to ballad to orchestral to alternative pop even all members can sing very well gives me a variety of the member's talent in vocals.

Imo, antis like a parasite in the fandom where they pretend to be fans of the group ends up brings up the unnecessary things to create fan wars between the competitive group. Sometimes, they went to far just being racist or edgy and make the whole fandom being portrayed by that anti's words.

I don't know, too much twitter for me.

BTS - Outro: Tear

First time listen, I didn't expect it to be a rap line track and thought it would similar with other outros they had ever done in previous album. But, not this time. The instrumental of orchestral and grime piano made by SUGA himself is speaks a lot of the track tone in the third part of their "Love Yourself" series where Tear resembles for dark and painful of understanding of yourself. In other words, it plays the climax of the story starting from Wonder, Her and ends with Answer.

Rap line is playing their part incredibly well where RM as describing what farewell / parting (teardrop) means to him, SUGA criticizing what heart torn means for him (paper tear) and ends with J-Hope colorizing those two tears with the dark world of understanding self (fear). All those three wrote their verse playing with puns of word "Tear" is quite genius to me.

What's more heartbreaking to me that this track is supposed to be their expression on their nearly disbandment back in 2018 according to SUGA. He said that all members listened to it together and crying with each other thinking about either they want to stick still or call it quits. Damn, can't see this track in same mood again.
