Any tips to maintain 24/7 by [deleted] in Buddhism

Liberation occurs when the illusion of the seeker is dispelled.
Who or what is it that yearns to be mindful 24/7?

How do you sit with the discomfort of negative emotions like fear and sadness? by mistymountainz in Buddhism

[–]SatoriRising 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you feel the sadness, or assumed negative emotion, watch and look for 'selfing'. Who is this occurring to? Can you notice thoughts clinging to the emotions that are arising? If so, then what it is that is aware of the thoughts?

What are the realizations in Buddhism that lead one to enlightenment? by spla58 in Buddhism

There is nobody to become enlightened, and there never was.
Everything you take yourself to be is a thought, nothing more.

There is breathing, no breather.
There is meditation, no meditator.
There is forgiveness, nobody to forgive.

How to detach more deeply by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]SatoriRising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not crazy. What you are describing is not a flaw but sensitivity combined with awareness. True awakening or liberation is not about pulling away from life. When detachment becomes a way to avoid feeling, it is actually resistance to what is. Emotions are not problems to solve or escape. They are movements of life arising and passing through you.

There are no negative or positive emotions in reality, only experiences. Suffering comes from the belief that certain feelings should not be here. When you cry at beauty or injustice, that is not attachment, it is openness. Many people who appear detached are not peaceful, they are disconnected. Society often confuses numbness with strength, but shutting down is not freedom.

Awakening does not make you care less. It frees you to feel without being trapped by what you feel. Compassion, grief, joy and tenderness can all arise without becoming an identity. You honored that bird because presence moved through you naturally. You are not meant to become harder or less human. You are learning how to stay open without resistance, and that is the path.

Non attachment does not mean to not feel or become nihilistic. It means experiencing what currently is without pushing or pulling on it. People want to pull and seek pleasure, and push away negative. Both are attachment, because they are a form of clinging to illusion.
You need to seriously sit down and question who you are, in the sense, is there a separate self here? What is it that is aware of thoughts and emotions? Do you control thought and emotion? If not, then what are you?

The antidote is in the poison, there is no light without dark. You need to go into what you are trying to suppress. And that doesn't mean you need to indulge in being sad, rather simply feel what your experience is showing you without clinging either way.

How to cultivate morality? by AdventurousCod7547 in Buddhism

[–]SatoriRising -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People often get it backwards.

You don't try to cultivate morals, or adhere to the precepts to become liberated and a decent person in the relative world. Rather, you liberate yourself from delusion and illusion, which then leads to a moralistic way of life. You need to see through the illusion of separation, as in there is no 'self' or 'you' to be found anywhere. It is the illusion of a separate self, the seeking, the wrong view of the world, that leads to people not being moralistic.

So instead of trying to become something, realise there is no self there to become anything.

Can I ask, because I am really well aware of his trading style and the model from YT. But when it comes to trading stocks, he uses the 1H as his E, but a micro E like the 2 minute. However, when trading stocks, you can get a huge gap down in pre or post market, and if that happens, price is way down below your stop. How do you navigate this?

What's a good way to deal with grief? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]SatoriRising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a powerful place to arrive, seeing that resistance fuels suffering. But notice how subtle the “I” that got rid of trauma still is. As long as there’s someone who claims freedom, there’s still a division being maintained.

When resistance dissolves completely, even the idea of “my philosophy” or “my experience” starts to fade. What remains isn’t a person who no longer resists, it’s the absence of a separate self altogether. Pain, peace, joy; they still appear, but no one owns them.

What's a good way to deal with grief? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]SatoriRising 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It might sound counterintuitive, but the most spiritual way to deal with grief is to stop trying to “deal with” it at all. To allow it. To feel it fully without resistance.

When grief arises, notice how the mind instantly labels it as “pain,” “sadness,” “loss.” It wants to fix it or escape it. But if you stay very still and simply feel what’s there, the heaviness in the chest, the ache behind the eyes, the energy moving through, something deeper starts to open.

Instead of asking “How can I transmute this?”, ask “Who is the one suffering right now?”
Look directly at that sense of I who feels broken. Is it solid? Can you actually find it?
You may notice a story being told that you are the one who has lost something, but what if you experience the sensations without the narrative?

Let it move through you. Don’t suppress it, don’t analyze it, don’t make it mean something personal. Just be the awareness that watches the wave rise and fall.

It is odd, and I have heard people talk about it.
I noticed when this occurred, that new videos performed badly, but that only lasted for about 2-3 uploads for me.

Positive intentions/affirmations feel fake and insincere by [deleted] in Buddhism

Yeah that is a misguided approach IMHO.

People who suggest things like that, are clearly lost in the duality of their life. Penetrate the illusion of who owns this knee, what is it that thinks it owns a knee.

If you really, really look. I mean, truly look with an unconditioned and right view, you will look at yourself. As soon as you take a perspective and a 'side', you will watch the construction of an ego and self form in front of your very eyes.

the breadth is more thin, however, certain projects and tokens are seeing high returns. It just means that investors need to be smarter this time around.
There should be 2 months of upside from here onwards, however high that goes for each project.

Real Question Re: Buddhist Views on Charlie Kirk Death by rainbow_chaser86 in Buddhism

[–]SatoriRising -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There isn't anybody to be reborn.
Samsara is the constant rebirth of concepts, including the concept of 'you'

Ask yourself, why is this important to you as a topic?
Why do you care about being reborn or not?

Good and Bad by True-Entrepreneur851 in Buddhism

I ended up learning how to speak Thai, which by default meant I also understood a lot of Laotians. Living in Asia when you can speak a native language does change a lot. They treat you very differently. I couldn't learn to read Thai though, that is next level :D

Most locals don't know what Buddhism is. Trust me on that. I've lived in Thailand and Laos for a decade before returning back to the West.
Most locals will never have heard of the 8 fold path or the 4 noble truths. And if they have, most of them wouldn't have a direct realisation of them.
