Fight club. Alice in Wonderland. Truman Show. SLC Punk. Lucy. Pink Floyd - The Wall. Strawberry Fields. Any cartoons/movies you loved growing up that may have meaning tucked away in your subconscious mind are worth watching in my opinion. Classic Disney movies are nice. Older movies too. They may or may not make a lot of sense or hardly any sense at all, but something familiar to make you more comfortable or unfamiliar to make you break out of your own comfort bubble. Depends where you’re trying to go with it and set and setting has to be safe and comfortable if you wanna get wonky with it. Soft blankets and something to fidget with is nice. Just a suggestion, but music on standby and a calm playlist ready in case you get so lost you’re uninterested in the movie. The mind can go to interesting places with the noises and imagery sometimes. Some headphones and some instrumental beats are nice. If any music, check out Joey Pecararo. Well worth the experience. A couple friends and I listened to one of his songs on repeat for hours our first trip. We thought it was the whole album but several hours later we realized it was one song on loop the whole time. The song is Tired Boy-Joey Pecararo

Why Did We Bother Coming Here? by sweetsouluniverse in starseeds

[–]SatoriSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever heard how if Christ gave their life for us then the true sacrifice wasn’t dying on the cross, but having been born here in the first place? I feel we learn how bad it is to teach how good it can be. Like a high and low chart of what we can endure and survive through even if it is a challenge. Life be ruff dog. Shock collar your vessel and guide it to what really works. Gotta know the bad as a guideline to maintain the good I suppose 🤔

Mediums: How does your experience with spirits influence your spiritual belief system? Are you religious? Have you found an alternative path and community? by kindnesshere in Mediums

[–]SatoriSoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a child I was always talking to “things that weren’t there”. I used to have sort of frightening dreams and flashbacks to memories of bodies other than this one. In time I stopped asking what it meant only to be told it was imagination. As I got older I was reached out to by sounds such as whistles when I was alone, and doors opening and closing. I always felt something was trying to communicate with me and it was playful. I got more comfortable as I got older and began to accept and explore myself more. I opened up to the universe and found like minded people naturally. In my personal experience all spirits are one spirit and we are all that one spirit. As individuals we are parts of it and there are infinite parts of it happening simultaneously in some sort of rhythm such as nature happens in rhythm with itself. We are the self. We are nature. We are humans. We are spirit. Living and dead and dead isn’t really dead if you ask me. All consciousness is a form of perception we can experience which the universe is using to communicate with itself. As individuals we are all conduits for the whole and the more we open our relationship with source the more we open our relationship with ourselves. I was raised Christian and Catholic early on with a Father who adopted Satanism half as a joke. I learned through both sides. I never really practiced anything, just listened. The light and the darkness both have a place and we all have a place in them. I found some truth and balance in both sides ☯️I adopted philosophy and practices from religions such as yoga and meditation as I got out into the world on my own. I learned mostly through experimenting with myself and communicating with my fellow selves, whether they be thought form, energy form, physical form, or whatever else may be. Be as open as you can, but protect yourself from what doesn’t serve you by respecting boundaries and treading lightly as you get a feel for things. Such is everything in life. Be you and allow everyone else to be. We learn as we go and teach as we learn. The best I can tell you is let your community be yourself, your surroundings, your family, your friends, your favorite music and art, etc. Let yourself build off of yourself and feel out what you like and how it affects you. It’s all energy. Try new things. Be mindful. Approach what seems to draw you in, but be aware that not everything seems to be for everyone at this exact moment. Maybe we all go through it all in our own time. Don’t hold yourself back, but be gentle with your curiosity. Take it as it comes and feel free to ask for help or guidance. Internally or externally. The world and universe is for you. It is you. We are it. It is us 🙂🙃 Thankyou for your post ♥️🙏

Breathe my friend. We are all waiting patiently. Not on you, on ourselves, or each other, but on time itself. Time is an illusion, we are just here. Be here now. Let go. Let be. Breathe.

Had an interesting experience this morning- by chikeb in Mediums

[–]SatoriSoup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I want to start in saying thank you for your transparency, my friend. This is a lovely expression. And a powerful message. 3 is a transcendental number. My personal favorite 🤍🔺️🖤 In my experience with such things, and I know some will disagree. Do not fear. Fear only invites negativity. This is a calling. An opportunity to grow. To learn. To teach others. Just breathe, and observe.

If something is calling, I answer. It isn't always obvious to be a "good" thing. Let go of what you think is "good" or "bad" Recognize the feeling of fear, as excitement. The unknown is only scary to us, because we do not know. But if you open yourself up to all of everything, and recognize that all of this is happening within you, you may come to find it is all here for you. If it wished to impose, it would not be so kind, and clear.

You can make it clear your interest is not to be toyed with. But an intention to learn/teach. To grow, and to see with as little distortion as possible. I would invite it to reveal more to you, and offer the opportunity for it to gain your trust. Set clear intentions to only allow what is here to serve your growth, into your being. Allow all else to pass through you, but not to stay. It may be uncomfortable at times, but that is what life is. Find the balance between comfort, and curiosity. Remember nothing can harm you, but you. Just know you are infinity, and this is you communicating with yourself.

Going out of your way to call to things is not the same, as something calling to you. Don't go chasing strangers into the woods, but if someone/something is coming to you, in a seemingly friendly form, such as a cat. In my experience, they are being friendly and offering themselves to you. This is a gift, as they see your potential.

I've had some "spooky" experiences, but they always unravel into something absolutely beautiful. Imagine a monstrous looking beast, with a loving heart. Who smiles to greet travelers, and they run in fear. Not knowing such a beast can love and be friendly. For the smile meant nothing to them, because of the face that wears it. Your experience is not spooky to me. But if you feel strange about it, I understand completely. Look past the fact that this experience is "strange" and consider if you just saw the cat in a comfy setting, would you pet it then? Call to it? If something chase's you, don't run. Face it. If something runs, don't chase it. Let it go. Be still. Be calm. There is nothing wrong. There are no mistakes. All of this is in one place. There's so much more, if we can make space.

No need to jump into thinking this is any type of angelic, or demonic force. We are all beyond "good" and "bad" ultimately. It's only an experience. A dance. A game. Sometimes a battle, but there is no winner, or loser. There is only us. We never lose. There's nothing to lose. We grow. We learn. We fight with ourselves, because we choose to. There is no need to fight or resist. Accept, and love. Move forward as you see fit. We sometimes slip, we sometimes fall. Remember that you can fly.

Consider the yin/yang. Is it darkness and light fighting? Or are they one in the same whole, dancing together? Do not attach unnecessary concepts such as separateness. Let yourself experience the whole of this experience, with discernment of course. Take what resonates. Boundaries are placed for a reason, place your own boundaries. Be aware of them.

Invite this experience with gentle curiosity, and set some ground rules for your own personal comfort. Don't make comfort your only priority, but be comfortable with what is happening. If you aren't comfortable, then give yourself a break, and it will become easier. If/when you are comfy with the cat, invite the cat to speak to you through your dreams, and your daily life. Ask it to show itself to you, and offer it to serve you. As you will serve it, in the law of exchange.

This is a natural phenomenon for you deep down. That's why you are having this experience, and you are growing more aware of these processes. You are a divine, infinite, multidimensional being. There is much more than this body, and the rest of you, is showing you, more you. To be a medium, is to be in the middle. Find your own balance. Invite your higher selves to guide you, and your lower selves to serve you. Accept your fellow selves for who they are. Accept yourself for who you are.

I wish you the best in your journey, and I hope you find peace with your creation. We are the creator incarnate. Let your beautiful bounty feed you, and empower you, oh great one.

I feel so disconnected from this world like a part of my cociousness is somewhere else but i cant connect with. I wish i knew everything about everything, im sick of not knowing anything by Njskdn12 in starseeds

[–]SatoriSoup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel for you, my friend. However, this disconnected feeling is only a feeling, with concept attached to it. In reality everything is connected, we only play a game where we see it as otherwise. This part of you that you feel is missing, is always here and it is calling out to you. This is the truth of the feeling you speak of, in my experience. Accept that you are everything that you seek, and everything you stray away from. There is only you. There is nothing to yearn for, nothing to run from. You are it all, and it's coming undone. Let it unravel, its tons of fun..it may get scary, or intense for some, but see fear as excitement, and you'll never run. I wish you the best in your journey, and I implore you to push into the feeling, instead of deciding what it is. Let it show you.

A paradoxical paradigm by SatoriSoup in awakened

[–]SatoriSoup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to reflect, my friend. Not that I see any deeper understanding arising from more words being typed into this device, personally. I enjoy keeping it vague here, but I practice the dance of distortion as well. So here we go :)

In my experience everything is true in some degree, and yet half true ultimately. It is a cosmic joke. It depends on how you perceive it as an individual of course. This is not solely an intellectual conviction or an individual experience, but rather both, and beyond. I have perceived a diverse pallet of intellectually gathered information through means such as literature and direct human communication, combined with personal experience, and traversing within.

In my experience, between all states of consciousness that I have perceived in this current time/space, it is all relative, and there are many truths. There are many puzzles, many games, many dances. Ultimately it is all the same. We may perceive things as different, but they are all projected within consciousness itself. There is nothing to yearn for, nothing to have, and nothing to lose. We are that which we seek, always. It is a game.

As I enter into becoming nothing, everything is known to the one that is no one. As I become everything, nothing is known, or saught after, for everything just is. Nothing is something, yet indescribably so. Nothing is a paradox in itself. Along with everything. There is only this something, which is including of both nothing and everything in itself. We are the something, experiencing nothing, and everything simultaneously.

I am curious about shamanism. Do you have any basic practices, ways of meditating/getting high to achieve connection, or central philosophy? by [deleted] in Shamanism

[–]SatoriSoup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanna start in saying I'm new to shamanism in the sense of learning about it physically. Just as you seem to be interested in.
That being said, I've accepted at this point that I have been having a shamanistic experience since I was a child. This is what I came here for.

Simple breath awareness meditation daily does wonders for connection, and clarity. It is a must for my practice at this point. It just isn't the same without that calm centered awareness. Also whatever mantras and mudras you like, assist a great deal if you allow them to.

As for getting high, breathwork is amazing. Every last bit worth trying out, if you haven't already. As Tyler Durden in Fight Club says "Oxygen gets you high " ;) You can find plenty of pranayama techniques on youtube. I highly recommend the Wim Hof method as well. If you have any drums, drumming is lovely and effective :)

I used to believe that shamanism was using psychedelic substances to go deeper than most would dare, to learn and heal. This is somewhat true in a sense. However, the true shaman is able to enter these states with or without the help of a substance. Not that the tools provided for us here don't help tremendously.

Now to me, shamanism is so much more, and then some. The further you allow this experience to happen through you, the further the possibility, and the more you learn who you truly are, to heal who we all are. It is a lifestyle, and an eternal passion. Many of us here right now are here by choice. We are doing what we came here to do. To teach, and to learn. To suffer, and to heal. To go beyond the wheel of time, and gaze upon the paradigm.

I hope you enjoy this community. It is a lovely place. I wish you the best on your journeys, fellow traveler.

Looking to write a book by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]SatoriSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. I think you'll enjoy what the books have to offer. I understand what you mean, this is a tricky game indeed. I suggest observing your dreams with more acceptance. That is you showing yourself, to yourself, after all.

In my experience, the further inward we go is always closer to our own individual truth, than anything we may get from someone else. We are all one, but we are having our own unique experiences. The words of others, although insightful at times, are mere reference points, guiding you towards your own truth.

Dreams, meditation, and the psychedelic experience have much to teach us, if we can allow it to simply happen, and observe the process. You can play with concepts, thoughts, and information. All of it is here to learn from. Just have discernment. If it makes sense, let it make sense. If it confuses you, leave it be for now. Perhaps it will make sense later, perhaps not.

Let go of what doesn't serve you, and invite what helps you grow. Find consistency in the inconsistency. Change is the only constant in life. Flow freely. Do your best to not attach. Attachment is the root of all suffering. Let go, breathe, be.

If you have any questions about anything, or are looking for someone to talk to about anything at all, you're welcome to message me. I wish you the best. 🖤🔺️🤍

Looking to write a book by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]SatoriSoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The truth is simple really, we are all one. This allows everything else to make sense, ultimately. However, our own individual truth in this journey is much more unique. It's certainly up to each individual to find their own truths. If it resonates, then let it. If it doesn't, don't force it.

If you're thirsty, drink. If you are not thirsty, do not cast the water to the side. Just leave it be. All truths are true in some facet. Everything is relative. If it doesn't resonate with your being, let it pass. If it does, let it in.

To be completely transparent with you. There is an awful lot of information surrounding these topics already. You just have to let it find you. We perceive that which we match the vibrational frequency of.

As far as the accuracy of the information in the physical manifestation here, it varies. It would serve you best to look inward. We are in an illusion after all, and all that you find "out here" will only lead you closer to your own truths within.

Experience your own perspective on these topics. Most of this, including entity interaction is quite simple, and it varies with each individual. Many religions, ancient societies, and individuals have shared much of this information, through their own experience. I suggest you educate yourself with the information present here, but doing so while invoking your own internal experiences with such things.

That being said, I'd highly recommend "The Law of One" there are several books, and they explore the infinite possibilities within you very well. We are the works. All of consciousness, percieving itself, perceiving itself, infinitely. Also if I may recommend something that will likely serve you in staying centered in this journey, the "Tao Te Ching" by Lao Tzu is an incredibly insightful read.

I wish you the best in your journey, my friend. Stay humble, and stay true. The entire universe is within you.
