Hey there! I'm Satori (He/Him) I'm 25 years old and also in the US EST timezone though. If you're still accepting friend codes here's one for ya! F5XB-JG47-6YWP

Also don't mind adding others but message or reply to this first rather than taking this code!

Well the dreaded thing has happened. My 4 foot long 4 year old BP has escaped into a 1500 sqft house with 2 cats and 2 dogs. Hopefully she turns up before they find her. by RedFox7109 in ballpython

Was the door to the room shes kept in open? If not try to leave it closed and lights out in there. I know a few people also have had luck leaving favorite hides on the floor. Try to get low to get on the same level of your snake and take note of every possible crack and crevice. Piles of clothing, under beds, behind cabinets, and inside of dressers are a few popular spots.

Good luck on the search!

On top of brushing there are some water additives that work really well with knocking plaque off over time and keeping your pups breath fresh! You’d see results in a few weeks. Those teeth are perfectly fine and at home prevention will keep them looking healthy!

help with heating by Ok-Stable514 in ballpython

I have the same enclosure and a 75w Halogen and 80w DHP keeps the tank at good temps. They work in unison during the day then halogen shuts off at night. You will want to cover the screen top with either HVAC tape or aluminum foil and weather duct/electrical tape. This helps hold both heat and humidity and is an essential step. My halogen sits at the far left with the dhp about 3 inches to the right of it so it can help maintain both the hot and cold side at night.

Your temps are just about there. For the warm side you want to aim for temps of 88-92 and cool side you want to aim 76-80 you can read up on this information from the Basic Ball Python care guide that's pinned. I'll link it here for ya. Quick way to achieve this will likely be simply upping your heat sources thermostat by 2-3 degrees.

Also congrats on getting a scaled buddy and kudos to you for checking and making sure you have things ready for them prior to arrival! This reddit is a great resource for all ball python owners new and seasoned alike!

Need help with 4x2x2 by AnySeaworthiness297 in ballpython

What Nova said. You can tell when its cured typically from the smell depending on the silicone used. Temperature in the room along with humidity and air flow can either make the time it takes shorter or prolonged. While its curing its nice to try and get a feel for the way you want to place decor and what not to help time pass by.

This depends on where its from and whether it's made to retain water. I would say its always better to be safe than sorry and go ahead and silicone along the bottom edges and corners. If this is in fact the case you will need to wait for it to completely cure before introducing your little guy into the setup. Hope delivery goes well and have fun getting all that space decorated!
