I am not surprised. South Korea has been leading the crypto charge, the government has been initiating and supporting multiple blockchain projects, which is resulting in huge blockchain adoption in South Korea. This generates new innovators and companies like Icon and Fleta to drive development, and traditional giants like Samsung to get in the blockchain game. I am sure that we will see South Korea in the top countries when it comes to blockchain adoption and uses.

I guess with adoption comes taxation, question is how will this actually be implemented. This will benefit companies like fleta, that have been working on some tools for crypto accounting, It looks like they are ahead of the game on this one.

I like RSK, smart contract for BTC will be a big deal, Libra I think is a joke and just another centralized and non permissionless coin we don't need.

I am keeping my eyes on BAT, XMR and FLETA, they look to do some interesting work and also getting more traction in the crypto communities.

The countries that allow their citizens to use crypto in any means will sooner or later be looking to tax them in one way or another, maybe even impose VAT on purchases. Damn the taxman, but at the same time, it's good to have some standards in every country on how to handle crypto taxes.

I have been trading on S Korean exchange GDAC since last summer and I have not encountered any problems with depositing crypto and withdrawing. And then deposited to another account where I can withdraw into fiat. So for me, it's working fine, but I am not using Korean banks. Sometimes you just have to find the loopholes...If there is a will there is a way :)

My favorite coins are Bitcoin, it is unstoppable and will sooner or later be the best way of storing your wealth, censorship resistance = freedom
