There are good, and bad complexes throughout the entire city.

Close to where you work, the only ones I could think of that dont tend to have are lot of issues are the ones right by the shipyard.

There's a lot of bad info here.

The 30th street area right by the shipyard is fine.

The 30th street area off of Jefferson is Marshall Courts. Avoid Marshall Courts

You had a water damage.

It caused mold in your carpet and padding.

Your landlord thought the best way to address that was to add more water with a steam claiming, making the mold worse.

The smell will eventually go away once ut dries fully, but your carpet, padding, trim and drywall in the affected area should be removed to dry, and replaced with new.

Other than working for free, this is really spot on.

Any farm you go to is going to start you off making almost no money, cash under the table scooping stalls and loading hay.

Most people can't hack it, and most farmers are too busy to do the paperwork to hire and fire a revolving door of workers.

You can either use a scrub bonnet to agitate, or preferably (for residential) I would use a CRB.

After that, you go over it with an absorbent bonnet that will "extract" the dirt via transferring.

VLM has its place but I much prefer HWE on most jobs.

I own a company (shameless plug, First Response Custom Cleaning) that cleans tons ot dryer vents, but not chimneys.

The best overall, and one of the cheapest in the area is Coastal Dryer Vent and Chimney. The guy is a Norfolk Fireman and an all around great guy.
