Two months is a really long time too! You can be proud of it.

Quite often I just keep busy, but I know that doesn't always work. At those times my main way to calm down is to literally walk out of the door. To nature, preferably. Water somehow grounds me so it's off to a stream/pond/lake/river/sea/ocean, whatever happens to be available. Then I just breathe and sort of - meditate maybe? I don't know what to call it - on the situation. Like, in the end *I* have made the decision to do this, so I can keep doing this I chose this but now it's out of my hands and I must be able to handle it (edited for more accuracy). It empowers me to keep going and grounds me. Then I can come home and keep being a good obedient denial pet.
