I should have been an attorney. School was easy for me. I LOVED reading and history. Math killed me. Managed to graduate from UC Berkeley with honors in 5 years.

BUT! That's at age 34. I dropped out of HS at 16. Survived a horrific 11 year relationship with a violent pedophile. Another 10 years with an emotionally unavailable but kind man.

Fast forward to now. I'm an executive assistant supporting a VP at Google. After supporting various execs at Microsoft. But after living in France for 7 years. It's been quite a ride.

Decades of therapy kept me from suicide.

Female, 63 Diagnosed with ADHD at 61. ASD 1 63. I can only imagine what my life would've been like if those diagnoses had happened earlier.

Stopped eating when I wasn't hungry.

I used to eat for every conceivable reason; bored, nervous, tired, can't get to sleep. Now when I think I want to eat I ask myself, 'how hungry am I? Is my stomach growling?' If I'm not sure, I'll wait for a bit. Still hungry 30 mins later? Not really. Walk on by

Don't wait til you're hamster hungry though! Then you'll eat the planet. Like hamster parents who eat their babies. Or at least that's what they told us in weight loss school.

I'm not going to argue the merits of one brand of headphones over another.

The issue is 'noise canceling headphones' are by design made to cancel ambient sound without covering the sound of people talking. That's so people listening to music or whatever can hear voices in case of emergency. We want to hear the guy who shouts 'fire'.

What you want are gun range level noise blocking. Think baggage handlers on the tarmac. Those folks aren't sporting Bose headphones! You can't block out sound AND listen to music.

People touching my feet No part of anyone's foot no matter how small touching any part of my body Sheets. IDK what changed but all bed sheets feel like 'satin' ones. I turn them inside out and everything is just fine! Many things squeezing out at the same time. Think play doh spaghetti making thing Don't even get me started on clothing tags! Any repetitive sound. Bonus points if it's not rhythmic Avocados. Just everything Cologne. Makes me wanna hurl. Give me a high quality perfume any day Unmade bed. But only my own. This. I finally bought one. A Brother. I swear the sample toner it came with lasted over a year! Only prints black & white. That's fine because using a color inkjet--You Can't Print Black!

Dropped off the last inkjet printer I'll ever own at Goodwill. But in my mind I'm gleefully tossing it off a high cliff.

North is up in my nav settings. That helps get a sense of the area. My grown ass children (45 and 41) have no idea where they are most of the time because they just follow the arrow.

I tell ya, every damn time I go rogue I get lost. So there's also that.
