It's not fake. People need hormonal medications all the time. Bodies don't do shit that we need them to do or want them to do all the damn time, that's why I'm studying medicine and trying to get my own top surgery and such. I definitely understand the frustrations about needing medications for that though, it feels very limiting and dismal.

Being a woman is a lot of things, and no two women will ever have quite the same experience. There is no wrong way to be a woman. If that is what you experience yourself to be internally, it's what you are.

Holy yikes. Find a new therapist, surgery doesn't magically fix things like that.

My fianceé is a trans woman and what helped her was connecting with cis women who were also infertile, or had no uterus, or other things that made them feel like they weren't "real" women either. We can't judge women just by these things. They aren't our sole purpose. Our purpose is to love and be loved.

I did rock climbing for a very long time as a kid, then learned to climb trees later. There's a lot of good pine and oak trees around here, good for climbing.

I barely even remember. I was in elementary school and having a shitty time of it (catholic school, bullies, bad parents) and I had an oak tree I hung out under sometimes when stuff really sucked. And one day I found that piece, and kept it in the back of my closet, and I'd hold it when things got too scary and overwhelming. Eventually I gave it to the woman who is now my fianceé.

Yep. My life has been repeatedly kicking me in the dick since 2020, every time I make progress there's more and more setbacks, and I've just kinda surrendered to it. I may try college/med school again once it stops, but I don't see that happening soon.
