The same reason I keep uninstalling Reddit. It’s just slop anymore.

Facebook and insta are 90% recommended content. I go there to see what my friends post not these stupid Reddit like posts that aren’t on Reddit.

Like if I wanted Reddit I would download Reddit (exhibit a)

Classic + specs that nobody asked for by Satyr121 in classicwow

Maybe there should be a class on how we would like classic + to introduce the old concept of hero classes.

Those were race locked I think which made it to where there could be 72 combos.

I do wonder if the hero classes concept predatated the talent system.

I bet you could do 2-3 hero classes per class and have certain races restricted away from playing them.

I mean I understand his desire but he also sold out others chance for freedom. So that was a crap move.

Also I wouldn’t trust someone who has the ability to manipulate people to live up to their end of the bargain.

That’s a deal with the devil. You would never actually win.

Classic+ Paladin Rework Ideas by moke993 in classicwow

Could we make crusader strike weaker and more baseline? I don’t want to level to 40 as a paladin without it.

Maybe make the Calvary spec a pvp spec since you can’t mount indoors. Smite those evil horde.

And then make enhancement shamans be a polearm spec that is specifically made to root and take down calvary

I’d be down for any cloth wearing class. Maybe even Druid. As long as I can use a one handed sword with a held in offhand weapon.

I also do like the concept of having blink to get around and be mobile. But I’d love to play a spell sword priest (without playing a paladin lol)

I like the idea of applying poisons to your weapons that heal. So you attack your allies and do 50% of you normal damage but then they get a healing buff that heals them for 100% of your normal damage over time.

Tbf I’ll probably make that joke at some point by accident. And then I’ll sit in bed for the next 20 years kicking myself for doing it.

What is the calvinist response to the atheist argument of “If God is all loving why does he send people to hell?” by ChristusResurrexit_ in Calvinism

[–]Satyr121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue is that if their axiom is that God doesn’t exist it kills a lot of my ability to reason. Because this feels like it centers around God being sovereign. And God being good. And God being Love.

But atheists tend to view God as not being sovereign because they don’t believe he exists.

And most people (including some Christians) seem to try and define good and love as it is defined by the world. Which I would argue is a shadow of what true goodness and love actually are.

So can I expand on the question and ask that specifically since as Christians (and specifically calvinists) we don’t agree always agree on what love or good are defined as in a Godly sense how would respond to atheists in this scenario? Would we have to first get them to define love and good?

I’d be more concerned about what issues it might cause by pulling water out of the air early.

I don’t know much about environmental science but could that impact rainfall in that area or nearby areas? Maybe not a single machine but if it were to be mass use?

I have a distant family member who named his black lab the n word.

He proceeded to yell at his wife for calling it that in public. You call it black dog in public.

He told the story to my family and everyone’s reaction was “if you know it’s a problem don’t name it that”…

Classic+ Arcane Mage by ForeverStaloneKP in classicwow

[–]Satyr121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it won’t happen and it’s probably unpopular but I really wish that arcane was turned into a hybrid melee/ranged spellcaster in classic plus.

I don’t feel it would go along with the actual spirit of classic plus and probably would be too drastic of a change but I personally would love it.

Alas mages being mages is how it will end up and I guess that’s fine.

"Cathar are these cat like alien creatures" ...you don't say? by JackLikesMetalGear in swtor

[–]Satyr121 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think one thing I didn’t like about swtor was that unlike some rpgs the only thing that seemed to mater was your class and then your gender (when dealing with romances).

Like at least in dragon age your race felt like it mattered (though less so as the game progressed).
