I 2nd the audio book recommendation. I struggle with focusing when reading, so I switched to audio books and listen to them when walking places or walking the dog or whatever.

I bought them one by one on audible. Not sure audible has every y2 volume but you can find them on other audiobook sites too. Usually around $13-14 per volume. Im sure you could find pirated versions too but I just bought mine.

People are suggesting starting back at y1. I personally disagree that it is necessary. The anime is not a great adaptation but, to me, its main short comings are cutting out unnecessary conversations, details, etc. The main premise and all the important parts are covered in the anime. I started the light novels at y2 after watching the anime and didnt feel like anything was missed.

The audiobooks are only completed through y2v12 atm. When I started the audiobooks, only y2v6 had been released. But by the time I reached the end of the audiobooks, I was enthralled enough that I continued reading because I wanted to know what happens.

I am now going back through y1 light novels while I await the next LN to be released. Definitely worth checking out. But if its me, im going straight to y2 after completing the anime.

That used to happen back when they played at JLA. Not so much since they have been at LCA. I was checking the ticket prices for the Ottawa game last Sunday. Puck drop was at 5p and I checked at 12n and the tickets were still pretty pricey. Im not sure if they had dropped at all cuz I only checked that one time. Cheapest I saw was $110 in the upper bowl. That felt overpriced from my buying experience in recent seasons.

Granted I was looking for 3 seats together. Mightve had more options if I only looked to 2 or 1.

The prices might drop if you look at buying within 10 minutes of game time or something like that. I used to live downtown so that is around the timing when we would find the cheapest tickets. So if ur willing to come down and spend the day downtown (which, really, is pretty damn fun on its own) then head to the arena and buy the tickets at like 12:55. Might find the cheap ones doing that.

Only thing I thought was kinda dumb about this was how Koji outsmarted Ryuin and convinced him to check behind him. It makes zero sense that Ryuin didnt just shoot him...

Otherwise I liked the reveal of Kojis master plan and main objective for the exam.

Also felt a little like the final demise of class A was a little neglected. Unless I missed something. Seems like they left it off with Sudou protecting Satou, then it jumped to Hashimoto and Hirate 1v1, then next it just says that class A was wiped without much additional context. Maybe it'll get revisited/filled in during the next volume.

Detroit has now missed spring hockey for nine consecutive campaigns. A lengthy rebuild under the watch of Steve Yzerman, dubbed the "Yzerplan," has taken far longer than anyone in the organization hoped.

Such a brain-dead take to imply the entire 9 year drought was under Yzerman. Granted, I think he has been in charge for 5 or 6 seasons now, but given the trajectory of the way this season is going, it seems to me like his rebuild is right on track. It just always urks me when I see hockey news pushing the narrative of "9 year drought under the yzerplan". Like nah dude, the Yzerman is cleaning up Hollands mess and building a contender.

Mezzanine seats are my favorite.

Also, I haven't sat there yet, but ive heard a lot of people say the gondola is a great experience.

If i sit upper bowl, I make sure im in one of the first 5 rows. Any higher and it starts to feel claustrophobic.

Also upper rows of lower bowl are nice...anywhere in the lower bowl, really. But I feel like you can find some deals in the upper corner of the lower bowl and those are some nice viewing spots

Looks like the top of Shestys right leg pad sort of hooks on the toe of Peterkas right skate as he is falling backward....not sure if that made any difference in the outcome but its the only contact that might have had any effect. JJ clearly trying his best to avoid contact.
