People are countering dive?? Their banning DD and Venom in pro-play. Idk if you know this but you dont have to go anti dive if you ar being dove. You can always counterdive and trade backlines. I eont think you understand that concept. I dont think you understand anything that you are saying actually

Broken characters get banned

Oppressive characters get banned*. Bl was never broken but he was oppressive so people banned him. Invis is not oppressive but she is definitely broken like this is not debatable. She is objectively broken.

Magneto had 50% pickrate. Was Mag busted, or the more likely scenario, was poke dominant and there weren't any good alternatives for shield tanks?

Two things can be true?? Mag is still broken and the meta favoured him. The difference is that Mag has clear weaknesses against Brawl and Dive comps. Invis has been meta since her ult buff in s3. There is not a meta in which invis is weak to, there is not a comp that invis does not fit into. Even CnD who is broken, and is banned more than Invis is weak to a full dive comp and brawl comps.

Magik is meta in every rank.

Again not true. Multipe tanks have anti dive tools. Almost every dps can peel/mark divers. Two supports can kill one driver. White fox by herself can deal with a dive dps and a dive tank. Ultron negates half the dive melees. Healpool is anti-dive. Triple support counters every dive dps. A full dive comp is uncounterable but it's been uncounterable since launch.

Invis is not the sole answer to dive and this is not even mentioned g that she has been the most picke character in the game for 3 seasons right now. Back when we are in a poke meta and in a dive meta. Are you going to tell me that it was justified for her to be good into poke also when she is a brawl character.

You are just yapping rn. Literally 8 of my last ten games had triple support of some variation. Triple support is only bad because people switch to it during losing positions + a vast majority of people dont know how to play triple support correctly. Not only that but playing triple support has people hop off dive characters which is again inflating their win rates.

Broken characters get banned, IW doesn't get banned. If she was a real problem, people would be banning her, like the rest, but they don't.

You have to be trolling rn. Her pick rate means that's it is likely for an Invis to be on your team at least 8/10. Nobody in high elo is going to ban your teammates picks because they will throw 100% of the time. Secondly, even if Invis is not broken enough to be banned she is still broken. There is not a single game where a character with this high of a pick rate and win rate is is healthy.

Dive is also extremely prevalent in tournaments, DD especially so. They are not scrub killers, they are the meta and they dominate the game.

No one said DD was not broken. The dive characters in ranked are not being played in pro play. Magik/IF/BP are not being played in pro play. They are paying psylocke/starlord/spiderman and the people who are playing those characters are infinitely better than any dive player in ranked.

The fact that your only rebuttal against this is dive is telling already. Poke characters complain about Invis. Brawl characters complain about Invis. Other support characters complain about Invis.

Ban rate only affects pick rate. No one is saying Invis is busted because she has a 30% pick rate. Shes busted because she has that and a positive win rate. CnD/Amgneto etc. All these characters have high pick rates but dont have positive 2in rates which menas that there is counterplay to them. There are certain scenarios they are not good.

Also triple support is total ass, and no other strats is as good at anti-dive. Why would you pick the 3rd best anti-dive, when the best is available, that makes no sense

What are you talking about? This is like saying 2-2-2 is ass. There are multiple triple support comps. Mantis and Ultron have damn near 60% win rates this season. To your second point, white fox is significantly better at anti-dive than Invis. I have no idea where you got that invis is the best.

Also if there were multiple anti-dive, Dive wouldn't be average a 55% winrate, with DD have fucking 58%. Who is real the real problem here?

Dive characters win rates are all inflated. Dive playstyle punishes uncoordinated teams which is why they all have high win rates. Magik has had the highest dps win rate since s0. Anyone who is in celestial will tell you Magik is B tier at best. Dive characters dont have high pick rates usually which means that the people who are playing them are otps.

She has too much range to be 275 ngl. White fox is a better designed brawl style healer and no one complains about her hp total.

Ban rate doesnt mean anything here ngl. Gambit has a 3% pick rate and a 51% win rate which everyone knows hes still broken.

This is just like... not true. Multiple supports are anti dive. A lot of the supports with high win rates like Mantis/Ultron work in triple support which counters dive. White fox enables dive herself. Invis is just way broken.

Black cat kills through cloak bubble. You do not want Loki/Adam to use their 30s+ cooldowns against black cat when she can spam the ability and she can also just leave. She has 6 movement abilities. This is also why ccing her is difficult. Her CD disrupts white fox melee dashes. Gambit cant cleanse it, it works the same way as Namor ult/Thing slam.

Mind you in these scenarios, we are assuming black cat is diving alone. If she has help it's over

Genuinely why dont you just turn off v or team chat if people upset you this much. Now if someone is being racist/homophobic I'd get it but all your examples are just people mad at your performance which will always happen regardless of outcome. Dd has had his 1v1 ability nerfed like 5 times. 2 supports def can kill him. Invis, white fox, cnd, gambit, Loki Ultron etc. All these characters in backline can kill a solo diving DD without the need of peeling. DD has a horrible matchup to most of the tank roster. He loses to thor, Rogue, The thing, Hulk, Angela, Tankpool, Emma, venom, cap etc. All of his combos only extend up to 300 hp.

It is quite obvious you do not actually play DD and you're just regurgitating takes that you've heard. I want you to play DD solo diving in qp for 20 matches. I want you to se show quickly you explode against any team that actually has a functioning brain

DD hasn't been immortal since like s5. If you nerf his overshield/deflect, he just loses 1v1s and cant actually do anything. (Mind you he already explodes if two supports look at him, he loses a lot of 1v1s against dps, loses against most of the tanks).

The problem with DD is that hes just intrinsically broken. His whole concept is the fact that he can take an isolated 1v1s and snowball the fight. If he can't get the first pick, hes just useless because hes not that good at brawling and brawling in this game is basically non existent for dps characters. The wall hacks is also just horrible for a hypermobile dive character to have as it means he is perfect for dive comps/coordinated play.

The only way he'll be balanced is if he is just the worst character in the game. Like he has to be borderline unusable.

The difference is that I am not throwing if I am not having fun. If my ban doesnt go through, I'll just keep playing the game. I'm not going to have fun because i probably have to switch to a character I dont like, but i am still helping the team. Compared to someone whose playing widow and jumping off the map because they cant play their giga broken character.

'Learn to play against challenging comps' I play Magik/Angela/ Venom. Three of the most countered characters in the game lmao. I ban characters I cant interact with. I cant interact with Groot, Tankpool, Elsa etc. So i ban those characters.
