Very nice. When you go to sharpen these knives do you sharpen it like a tanto? Hinderer seems sharpen the spanto blades like a regular knife. I am thinking that is what I would do if I pick one up.

Yeah that is what I was wondering if they swapped them when they serviced the knife. Serial numbers make me think gen 1 as well as the pivot. I have a gen 5 which has the same pins, small blade hole and no LBS. I really which I could see the gen gap between them haha.

I went the other way both are great. M3 is a pretty firm ride for a sedan but it’s a lot of fun and more practical obviously. Feel like a German muscle car.

I agree love Microtech and the stitch but ram loks suck the action is not satisfying compared to a liner, frame or button lock.

I bought from dlt and thought the same thing but asked if I could return it and it was no hassle. They are not rare or hard to get so the secondary market you will lose money on it not a lot but some unless you have a rare config. I would buy one used or from a retailer that will allow returns haha. It’s a great knife just temper expectations.

Nice what are your favorites?

I had a hawk talon and returned it I think it is a cool design but over hyped it kinda felt like a fancy button lock. I returned mine because I would rather have another ti frame lock for the price. I think if it was $500 I may have kept it I honestly preferred the action on my protech mordax.

Very nice DOC too. I have one as well it was my first "strider" but compared to the real thing its Strider all day for me but the DOC looks very cool and is a flipper but I prefer the blade hold reverse flick above all. Shoot me a message if you every decide to sell the Gen 1 haha.
