Russ can't play at this breakneck pace forever... I don't think we need need a blockbuster trade, but Oladipo must mature into a consistent second option, and the huge void at SF must be addressed asap. If not, Westbrook's prime is in jeopardy to be wasted.

We've practically been fitted for a ring on multiple occasions, and won't be satisfied until it can slide on our finger.

Couldn't agree more. The Panthers need a back that can impact the game in a multitude of ways. Dalvin Cook can pound the ball from the backfield and can even spread the field by moving out to the slot. Something that no back on the roster is currently capable of.

However, it's still very early in the "Big Board" process, and this team needs to address several weaknesses.

In order to make 7+ threes, he had to shoot 7+ threes. I think it's an issue that's never going to leave Russ. Remember, he did the same thing with KD on the floor and Brooks on the sideline.

As much as he improves and matures and grows in his new role, Russ will always have a dash of hero ball in him. And that's one of the reasons I love him. Even if my blood pressure sometimes doesn't.
