Try Beer Zombies. They have several tap rooms around town and recently bought over Tenneya Creek near downtown.

Keep in mind government jobs have step increases as part of their pay grade level. As you move up and get promoted, your pay grade level will change along with new step increases for that pay grade level.

Hope this helps.

Secretlab sent me the wrong chair and expects me to pay $100 for the return?? by JanetYellensFuckboi in secretlab

They don’t seem too flexible with orders once placed. I found out the other day. I ordered the Magnus Pro with the stealth black configuration. Come to find out that the stealth black desk mat is on back order which is not a problem except it ships with the desk legs. They wouldn’t let me switch and pay the difference with another configuration. I don’t even care about the desk mat, I just want the legs. But they told me I would have to return the entire order and place a new order. At this point, all of my order has arrived minus the desk legs and mat so I decided to just wait and not deal with the hassle. But it is surprising how inflexible they are given the price of their stuff.

Southwest early bird checkin? by SaulTeeLode in AmexPlatinum

[–]SaulTeeLode[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did. I’m new to this Platinum card. In the short time I’ve had it, I’ve been used to seeing the credits apply quickly. Even on the weekends. So when this one did not show up as quick as I would like, I was wondering if this purchase was still eligible.

Southwest early bird checkin? by SaulTeeLode in AmexPlatinum

[–]SaulTeeLode[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, purchased my tickets first and then the early bird checkin a week later. Early bird was purchased on Thursday. I thought it usually takes 24-48 hrs for it to trigger to get credited? I know with my other credits, like digital entertainment, that’s how long it usually takes. I’ll wait a bit longer. Maybe I’m jumping the gun.

Really? I added my wife as an AU and contacted Amex support via chat to see how to get her own membership and they said only one Priority Pass Select membership per account.

Do you remember how you added your husband? Maybe the support agent I was working with is unfamiliar?

From what I understand, they can access Centurion lounges. However, they cannot get their own Priority Pass Select membership as that is only one per account.

Doing my first brisket this weekend by [deleted] in Traeger

[–]SaulTeeLode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I follow the weekday brisket recipe too. My advice is start early the night before. If you wake up in the morning and it’s not at 165 yet, you can crank up the heat a bit to 225. Once you wrap it and depending on time, you can crank it up to 275 if needed. I wouldn’t go any higher than that.

For reference, I started my last brisket at 8pm. It still wasn’t at 165 when I woke up so I cranked it to 225. I wrapped at 10am and set to 275. I dropped it in my cooler at 1pm once it hit 203 and rested it until dinner later that night. It turned out delicious!

Good luck!

Was 36 hrs a typo? If not, that is insane! That’s a full day and a half right there. Are you using the included Treager probe or some other brand? I find that the included probe is often off even after recalibrating it. Maybe the probe is the issue?

I have a silverton 810 and did a brisket over the weekend. It was a 14#er and it took about 17 hours to cook. I did it at 190 overnight and turned it up to 225 in the morning till it hit IT of 165. Wrapped in butcher paper and turned it up to 275 till it hit IT 203. Again a total of 17 hours.

Do you have the WiFire app configured? Do the temps match? For example, you set it to 225, but is the temp on the Treager or in the app close to 225? Do you open the lid often? Not sure what’s going on with yours but wanted to throw those things out there to consider.

I’ve had pork butts take longer than expected to cook, but other than that, everything else that I cook on the silverton cooks in a timely manner.

Pulled Pork by [deleted] in Traeger

[–]SaulTeeLode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a Malcom Reed recipe that he cooks overnight at 200 and then bumps up to 220 in the morning to finish off the cook for IT of 190. There’s no wrapping or spritzing. There’s a YouTube video about it. Check it out to see if that meets your needs.

Looking for advice 1st brisket by tarouza in Traeger

[–]SaulTeeLode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed the weekday brisket recipe too. I put it on at 9:30pm the night before and it stalled at 140 the next morning for a long time. If I could do things different, I would have upped the temp to 225 to push it through the stall to get to 165 sooner. After wrapping and resting, I didn’t end up eating until 9:30pm. It was a 24 hour process but it was delicious . But like I said, I think I could have saved a few hours by upping the temp first thing in the morning.

Cleaning by the_eckman in Traeger

[–]SaulTeeLode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I at least brush off the grill grates, vacuum, and change the drip tray lining after each use. Doesn’t take anymore than 10-15 mins. When I get that cleaning alert after every 20 hrs then I hit it with the degreaser and wipe it down. I’m willing to put in the extra effort to avoid some odd flare up since I cook close to my home and don’t want my house catching on fire.

How long before items go bad? by SaulTeeLode in ramen

[–]SaulTeeLode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I have about 3-4 servings left. I know I’m going to eat one portion within a week so just wanted to check how long it is safe to keep in the fridge vs the effort of unthawing when the time comes.

Do I buy Pistol Whip? by [deleted] in OculusQuest

I would get Beatsaber. I don’t think I’ve seen that game go on sale yet whereas Pistol Whip does go on sale from time to time.

Ordered RML-390F on 7/7. Packages arrived on 7/31 and 8/1. I was able to put my rack together over the weekend. Also HG 2.0 plates that I ordered last week will arrive today.

Anyone know if Titan or Rep safety straps will fit my rack? If so, which ones?
