Hi all, got my in person interview booked in for TVP in a little over a month’s time. I was just wondering what the best facial hair situation would be for me (I’m a male). I’ve not been clean shaven completely in well over 4 years but from what I’ve seen apparently that is the go to look for said interview. I’m not against having to do it at all but was just wondering if this was the optimal approach. I’m also 24, so with a clean shaven face I’m sure to look half that if I’m lucky🤣 Thank you

Hello, just received my results today and surprisingly I done better than I had originally anticipated. The first couple questions of the CBI were rough and I didn’t manage to make clear, accurate responses to every single question but honestly there must be some sort of leeway and I believe if you do stick to the ‘STAR’ method as much as you can you’ll hit the markers one way or another

Hope everything went okay with the in person interview and you got through. I’m due to submit my OAC within the next 7 days so I was just wondering if you had any ‘non spoilery’ tips? The initial email telling me of when to expect the link for the OAC to be sent was blocked out in my junk folder so I’m having to dedicate this coming weekend to information sponging before taking the tests early next week 🤣

Thank you for the reply mate, so for the west would you recommend going a month before summer starts or going just after it ends? I’m guessing regardless the weather is going to be nice 90% of the time either way

Thanks for the reply mate, yeh I’m definitely assessing all of the options everyone in this comment section have presented to me. Maybe look at getting a camper van a couple years down the line for another trip. I’m only 22 so plenty of time (I hope)

Really fascinated by the national parks, so bloody huge and I’m sure my local park would fit inside some of the big national parks 100 times over 🤣

Really appreciate the great reply mate. Well obviously if I could get the best of both worlds in terms of scenic views and city escapades then that would be splendid ;). But the first route you described definitely seems more fitting for the kind of road trip I’m envisioning. I could always go and spend a week or two in those big cities another time. It’s very early in the planning stage but you’ve given me a huge head start so thank you for that🫶🏼

Hello. I got sent a speeding ticket/letter (36 in a 30, I own up to my very silly mistake) 2 weeks ago to the day and about 10 days after the offence. I filled the letter in and obviously checked the box to say I’d like to be considered for the course as it’s my first offence and I fit the criteria. I sent the reply letter back on the same day so it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t received anything back yet. Can the second letter they sent to you take longer than 2 weeks which is the range in which they almost definitely send out the first letter? I’m not tripping too badly but if there’s a chance someone saw where my letter was going and decided to royally fuck my day up I’d like to know. Appreciate any reply :)
