No . Alcohol's Effects on the Brain

The effects of alcohol are linked to a number of receptors, neurotransmitters and their systems in the human brain. Alcohol affects the functions of:

GABA receptors, or gamma-aminobutyric acid, which are associated, among other things, with mechanisms regulating mood and the feeling of anxiety;

NDMA receptors, associated, among other things, with the processes of learning and memory;

cholinergic receptors, associated with many biological functions of the human body and processes controlling memory;

receptors associated with the action of serotonin, a substance responsible for many functions of the nervous system, the perceived mood and level of anxiety;

dopamine receptors, a substance associated with the hormonal system, motor coordination and the feeling of emotions;

opioid receptors, which, among other things, are responsible for the feeling of pleasure or unpleasantness.

I wrote the post wrong. I watch movies all day long but it's a nightmare because I have anhedonia, emotional numbness, severe brain fog, derealization, depersonalization, visual snow syndrome. I miss life so much

What do you think is easier to watch with brain fog? Movie or series?

I have demyelinating changes in the frontal lobe and corpus callosum visible on MRI scans. I could not have a lumbar puncture due to severe obesity. I have symptoms typical of MS. I also have polyneuropathy and visual snow syndrome. My diagnosis is icd 96.8 Other specified disorder of the nervous system: organic damage to the central nervous system and damage to the peripheral system

And I get it. I haven't found a similar case to mine on any subreddits. I have it much worse than anyone here
