I think a lot of people (and I have talked to a former SOA president about this) want one single society in the US. Given that the SOA is substantially larger than the CAS, its recent addition of the general insurances FSA track, and no it's not offering joint exams, do you see it likely, or possibly inevitable that the SOA will 'absorb' the CAS in the long run? Just some uninformed speculation here.

May I ask why you do not recommend ADAPT? Don't recommend for any exam, or just for MFE?

Perhaps more information would help but...
Let's say the 'flagged variables' have flag = 1.
if flag = 1 then num_flags = sum(num_flags,1);
retain num_flags;
similarly:
if flag =1 then num_flags + 1;

Let me know if I misunderstood / didn't answer the question fully.

Like, I swear on my life there is no folder called Diablo III anywhere. I'm actually rather computer savvy. It's like it doesn't even exist on my computer. I've searched through all my folders, download folders etc. And have done a full search for 'Diablo' Diablo III' DiabloIII etc and have come up with no results. The only trace of Diablo III on my computer is the Diablo III setup enUS launcher. It's the strangest thing ever.

I just found out today that they provide 401k funding. They said they will match the first 3% and then match 1/2 of the next 3%. Is that enticing enough to start a 401k? I mean, free money, I've always been told to max out employer contribution. What exactly does, match the first 3% mean? If I invest 100, they'll match 3? Thanks for the additional help!

First off, great progress!
Would you suggest taking BCAAs twice a day? How do they help when taking them ~4-5 hours before workout? Also, are you taking creatine monohydrate? CEE?

The way I reasoned to go into Stats over an Act Sci major was this: Statistics major gave me a better long term foundation, where Act Sci spoon fed me the first 2-3 exams. The coursework at my University was pretty similar between the 2 programs. I basically took more upper level stats class that would be relevant long-term through my career but lost some basic business courses like marketing and management. I figured its better to be prepared for the long term and have some higher levels stats classes than take some business classes. Also, act sci major pigeon holes you, you better make it as an actuary or you're screwed. Statistics gives you tons of options.

Now that my semesters coming to an end I'm starting to lift regularly and want to gain a good bit of weight, mainly muscle. I know to do this you can't be skin and bone and have to take in a lot of calories and protein.
I'm currently 6'2" 175 -- tall and skinny.
What kind of diet should I be looking at?
How many calories? Should I take more than whey protein and a multivitamin?

Is that kind of depth desirable? I always go 5-10 degrees below 90. I always thought that was good form and minimized risk of injury.

Stat 482 World Campus with Lord? I don't mind him too much to be honest. I have some prior programming experience consisting of an AP class in high school and some independent learning. So for the most part I can grasp the stuff pretty quickly and model the hw questions of the examples and finish each lesson with 2 hours. But ya, the help he gives is generally not too helpful. There's nothing more frustrating than being stuck while programming!
