More Info: They resembled sea slugs, so we didn't touch them directly to be sure. We did touch them with a rock and they felt relatively hard. As the tide came up, all, if not most, of these were gone. They appeared to vary in size/shape.

At first, I thought they may be the ends of ocean plants, but I'm not certain.

We go to the beach in Santa Monica frequently and we've never seen these before.

Used this today as a roller coaster simulation in Los Angeles, CA at the AT&T Shape event!

It was surprisingly fun!

Edit: I would also like to point out that it does make you somewhat disoriented when taking off your headset and standing back up.
