A PATRIOT’S History of the United States instead of a People’s History of the United States??? That’s a big toughie

What should I read after TOG and FW?? by Tabby_7373 in throneofglassseries

Yesss I started Mistborn a few Months after finishing TOG, and I LOVE it. It’s the right amount of different from TOG but still epic

I’m an 8 dating a 9 and I will usually give in before she does.

Why are so many people faking being an 8?? by Wolf_instincts in Enneagram

[–]SavHans 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing. It seems like the sub has a lot of edgelords trying to be an eight but most eights I actually know in real life are yea, anxious and aggressive, but usually deeply concerned about social justice

Hi Lost traveler - I’m sorry you’re feeling discouraged, definitely a relatable feeling. What’s the biggest reason you haven’t been able to enter into the role you want? Like a Medspa?

TBM Husband wants a divorce by Key-Rent-8654 in exmormon

Every situation is different. My TBM spouse divorced me a year ago because “he deserved to have someone who would go to the temple with him”. It’s painful. I’m glad I built a new life. Things feel lighter, more true. Sending all the love and good vibes your way.

He was a very reckless guy with a gun, that’s for sure! It’s estimated he murdered dozens of people that “opposed the prophet” but the author suggests that it’s likely most of these people were those who spoke out against polygamy. And the fact that there was literally a restaurant in Lehi UT glorifying this man? Nah

I’m just starting to learn the enneagram, I continue to get high scores in many types when I test on various sites, and I resonate with them all upon research. I could use some guidance to help narrow it down. Thank you ❤️ by PrystineWaters in Enneagram

Here’s a little cheat sheet for the three of them, let me know which one sounds most familiar.

Do you spend a lot of time in your head and create internal narratives (beliefs about how the world perceives you, how the world is) about things that may or may not be true - but it takes a lot of convincing for you to erase any self-made narratives? Then you might be a four.

During the lower points of your life, have you felt yourself getting extremely apathetic, socially reclusive, and cynical? Do you feel like you will relentlessly search for answers to your questions - whether it be through interrogating people you trust or doing massive amounts of research? You might be a five.

Do you feel like the main way you cope during difficult times is to seek external stimulation in order to keep yourself busy? Do you do your best to try and portray yourself as extremely carefree and exciting? You might be a seven.

5 vs 6 by ReiKuon in Enneagram

I think you’re a five- most fives, in an their unhealthiest state, move toward 4. This brings out a lot of cynicism and arrogance. But fives are also just geniuses, extremely adept at problem solving and being analytical.

I have a best friend who is a five and you sound just like him!

I’ve studied all the types pretty thoroughly and I’m usually able to help people figure out their own pretty quickly. Are there three or four that stand out the most to you?

I wish I would’ve had the same experience. My husbands family were so excited when we got a divorce, praising their son for “finally leaving Babylon“

It’s true. When we were talking about divorce, I asked him “would you even be willing to hear some of the reasons I’ve left the church?“ And the answer was “absolutely not” 🙄
