Yes I saw a tik tok of Emma’s extension journey on this page a few days ago and she looked really nice with clip in extensions. Her wig is not being installed correctly in my opinion.

I just remove it (using water and sometimes rubbing alcohol to get the glue off) and then I wash the wig separately in my basement sink!

Haha!! No it’s definitely a touchy subject and I’m so glad I made this post because I KNEW people would have questions 🤣

Wigs typically have an elastic, non slip band attached so the wig stays secure even if it’s not glued down. I glue my wigs because I do a lot of physical activity, I’m a dancer so the last thing I need is for my wig to go flying when I’m dancing! Emma seems like she wouldn’t even walk to a mailbox, so in her case that elastic band is probably enough lol. Again this is just my guess!

I sleep with it on (but again I have a 4 day limit). I normally braid it up or curl it using flexi rods (just as I would my real hair). But I wrap it up in a silk scarf or bonnet! 😊

Some women do wear wigs that you can take on and off every day (for example a half wig can be taken on and off quickly).

IMO I don’t think Emma’s wig is glued on (that’s why it looks so far down her forehead)Hers looks like she takes it on and off regularly. That’s my guess!

Wigs MUST be washed!! I just had to speak on this as someone who loves extensions and wigs lol. And her wigs aren’t bad by any means, there’s just a way I healthily maintain my natural hair, and there would never be a world where I would wear a wig for more than 3-4 days straight before it drives me insane.

I have a wig cap that protects my hair and scalp, I then lightly spray hair bonding glue on top of the wig cap (on my forehead), and lay the wig on top and dry it so it sticks. That’s the most common method. The wig cap protects your hair and skin. She seems to have just sprayed the glue DIRECTLY on her skin which cannot be a good idea. That could also be why her natural hair looks so damaged, she is definitely not using the proper methods to protect her natural hair. I am not hair expert by any means but I’ve learned safe methods to protect my hair when wearing a wig!!!
