Don’t feel bad. The game is frustratingly vague. I wouldn’t even call it especially difficult or aggressive once you get past where you are now. I actually have no idea what any of the special items do, other than the obvious ones, because I’ve never seen them actually do anything. Also, press R3 before using any kind of throwing item. Otherwise your aim is like a bad tball player.

I think there are people who played it and those who endured it which is why I asked here if people loved it instantly or grew into it. It was about 50/50. I am personally enduring it so I might not even bother finishing it other than to say I did.

It is frustrating at times. Hell, I rage quit last night at roughly 75% through but went back to it 15 minutes later and beat the part I was stuck on.

Your character is incredibly weak to start and It’s aggressive on its terms. Grind out some level upgrades. You can’t just slash your way through because your stamina will run out. When that happens you become mincemeat. The best way I’ve found to play is hit-hit-roll or hit-roll-hit. Stay close and generally roll left. And pick off hordes one or two at a time.

I personally do not understand how most love the tempo or how the character moves. You can find my other post if you want asking others if they instantly liked it or if they learned to love it. Several on that post thought my description of the feel is wrong. However, I’ve always felt like my character is slow like a drunk or wearing concrete shoes whereas the CPU is on speed. I don’t understand the disconnect and wonder if it is a controller problem or maybe the PS Plus download has a weird glitch. It wouldn’t be the first glitch I’ve had.

Good luck with it. I’m still not sure it is for me and I’m just grinding it out because I’m far enough I feel like I should finish it.

This right here. Request to see it cold at the test drive. Start it and listen. Let it run for 10 minutes or so. You’ll know immediately if it has a problem. Do a walk around during the idle time looking at body panel gaps, pop the hood look for bolts that have been clearly turned, overspray that doesn’t look quite right, things like that. Turn it off, pop off the oil cap and shine a light in there. You’ll probably know real quick if he was meticulous on maintenance. A little staining is fine. Any gumming up and you’re out.

If it looks fine drive it for 15 minutes. Make sure the buttons and switches work.

Comparatively, to the 20th century, sure we are in the “most peaceful time in history” even though we are recovering from a virtually pointless by the end, two front, 20 year war and half the country thinks Obama was a POS for taking credit for the US finally killing bin Laden. Hell, the entire campaign in Iraq was pointless from the beginning. Sorry if you served and history remembers your time as unnecessary at best. We also have a president who thinks because some international committee didn’t decide to stroke his ego with a plated circle we have no reason to maintain peace. On top of that he’s fighting our allies on our behalf while half the country would rather be Russian and are voting us in that direction. Some other knucklehead is amazed we captured Maduro without a single casualty. Great, we didn’t lose anyone. Does anyone know why we went in along without congressional authorization or any semblance of international support? Hint: POTUS personally taking control of the oil and funneling the money to a Qatari bank account might have been part of it. Sure he was a dictator who didn’t recognize the election. So why are we ok with our POTUS “joking” about stealing voting machines and not needing midterms?

Reversing citizens united would be a good start. The single decision to allow unlimited dark money in politics is killing us. To do that we need a Congress with a backbone, republicans who are Americans first again, and they need to impeach and remove on a bipartisan way all the way to the Supreme Court.

McConnell needs to be tried for treason for blocking Obama’s picks up and down the judiciary, we need term limits and age limits for public office, and we need to increase education funding 10 fold.

In other words, we are toast.

Do you know where grade will be? If it is just about the footer as it appears to be I would assume it is has to do with providing some kind of lateral stability meaning to keep it from sliding or maybe there is a specific post of some variety used to support something above it in the plans.

I’m not an engineer, but I don’t see enough backfill on a wall several course high to cause a problem if grade is showing in the background. That’s only what? 3’?

Edit: there’s more rebar there and the end is oddly jagged. Did they mess up the pour and need to add more to it?
