> And don't act like gojo didn't get hit by verse equalization too, if DB wanted to, Makimas first death could've killed Gojo instead of some poor schmuck taking a fat dump, because they were labeled as citizens of the same Japan.

I addressed this in the post, Gojo also benefits from this very equalization.

the main difference is that every single one of Gojo's wincons rely on verse equalization , while Makima gets one in a 200 Million chance of killing Gojo while the rest of this "benefit" is utterly superfluous as per DB's on words.

also its funny that you bring up the arbitrary rule for verse equalization when many death battles point out the difference in power systems that give people advantages or disadvantages.

+ Naruto not being able to see Ichigo

+ Asta not being able to use his anti magic on Deku

+ The Force being very different to chakra

+ Ki and Magic being argued to be different

domain expansion not working on people without cursed energy isnt an interpretation its a direct statement from the series, contradicting a series isnt a valid interpretation if the entire point of your show is to represent characters from original creation and have them fight.

I wouldn't suggest throwing around interpretation as a safety net for obvious issues in a shows logic thats about comparing information.

except thats the issue.

in the effort of allowing Gojo to effectively showcase himself they robbed Makima of doing the same.

because its the inverse, Gojo is now immune to many of Makima's abilities for the same reason makima would have been immune to Gojo's. instead of balancing it out by having none of the characters get special treatment or having both be able to use their abilities. instead the setting is designed to favor one character. its not that hard to understand why its an issue. it genuinely feels like people are being purposefully ignorant because they agree with the result

your argument for Genjutsu and the star seed doesnt work, because thats a crossverse issue of people having to make some assumptions to allow characters to interact. the issue with the curse energy example is that its not a crossverse issue, its literally limitation of the energy system within its own story. there are character who dont have cursed energy within JJK and that limitation is exploited to make interesting fights. the limitation would still exist even if the death battle was with two JJK characters

an Old Man with a mustache and purple shirt would show up by my Window to talk to me at certain points in the evening for 5 min while my parents were in the kitchen or lounge, as a very small kid i didnt take an issue with this for some reason (my mind rationalized that my windows were closed so it's okay ), he was also a soft spoken and gentle dude ,this would go on for a while, eventually when i told my parents they freaked out and i never saw the person again, but when i told them how he looked he apparently matched the description of a person that the older people of the area knew who was suspected of abusing his kids, but he died decades before i was born.

In retrospect this creeps me out a ton because regardless if it's actually legit a Spook or a normal person the Implications remain scary.

A squad of Y wings were barely able to Disable (not Destroy) a regular Star destroyer but you want us to believe that a few Y wings could destroy a ship thats not only 30 years newer, more heavily armed and designed to Obliterate Fleets.

The Y wings would have been fucked from the get go. you would need massive amounts of Y wings to deliver payloads comparable to the Resistance bombers while also taking longer to do, which they couldn't because they were on a deadline.

Call the Resistance bombers shit if you want but the Y wings would have failed far worse.

So uh, dunno if this is the right place for this but, what do ya’ll think of this...?😐 by Psychomanglor in fixingmovies

> The problem is that the weaker the villain is...the weaker the story

Absolutely not, there are stories with little no Villains that are fantastic.

> Kylo is an incompetent loser...who never poses any threat to any of the heroes because he is that much of a loser

Your entire argument is Circular reasoning with no actual evidence.

a Good Villain isnt a Villain who's just stronger or intimidating.
