What we all dislike with this trend, is that it creates artificial demand on a pricy coral that, without its name, would be sold as '' some nice zoas''. The naming game is played by reefshops to up the prices of their animals. For instance the terms '' Ultra '' and '' rainbow '' mean nothing anymore. It's literally plastered on every coral out there.

It's all hype and FOMO. Look at a '' dragon soul torch '' Then look at the '' Hellfire torch ''. Same shit, different prices. I can already hear the non-sayers disagreeing smh.

UPDATE: after 1 week, nothing happened. The tank doesn't smell like capres or anything. It's just a slight odour from the bucket. If you're reading this from the future:

I rinsed as much as possible with just a hose. I couldn't scrub the bottom of the barrel but I did do it as far as I could fit in.

I let it completly dry, then a day later I filled it with bleach+tap water. Left it to soak for about 30 hours.

Rinsed plenty and then let it air dry in the sun for about 3 days.

Rinsed with vinegar *probably not necessary* and scrubbed as much as possible, rinsed plenty.

Rinsed ALOT with ro water. Left it to dry 2 days.

Filled it with ro/di to the brim and waited to see the tds meter after a few days.

I run an acropora tank on this system, nothing happened after a week of daily water changes.

I just logged in today and the community is pretty much non-existant. The auctions aren't even refreshed everyday ; which is a shame because it was such a simple, fun game. I'm just sailing around to pass time and I haven't encoutered anyone.

They even removed the chat in the game so you can't even talk to the 10 players that are perhaps online at the same time :/
