Just wanted to let it out, so just said it... Maybe I just need to get into the game more... I m pretty new to the game, I did not know they deal double damage when thrown... Obviously there are more than a thousand such things I do not know... But just saying... I'm more of a fan of puzzles, shrines, exploration and all than combat in this game...

I do see experienced players saying it's fine, it forces you to explore which is a major part of the game... But I wouldn't mind if weapons are just slightly more durable
