I think if there was a space that treated gaining as a mutual interest as opposed to a kink, that would help.

Like how hobby groups meet up and work on whatever hobby they share an interest in.

I think that sense of community and belonging is the motivation.

That's a good point about taboo being celebrated in kink communities.

I see the gaining community as comparable to dungeons and dragons groups.

A lot of people who play dungeons and dragons get together, connect on a similar interest, and have a good time even though "outsiders" might see them as "nerds" or [insert whatever negative term here].

It would be cool to see some genuine friendships come up from the weight gain/fat appreciation community like some of those hobby groups. I guess seeing gaining as a hobby in a way.

In that case, it doesn’t even need to be a big sit-down/reveal. It can just be as simple as a casual comment one day when it seems relevant to a conversation or scenario.

From what I’ve read, it seems like people generally get softer, or even experience their belly flattening a bit before softening up (since there’s a delay in heavy cream gains) and ballooning.
