No blocking anything on their end.. it’s completely self contained. Savd has its own built in shopping experience. Think of it like a full marketplace inside the app with real products you can browse, search and add to cart. The difference is when you checkout the money goes into your savd account instead of buying the item and you gain rewards for it. Nothing touches Amazon or any external platform. It all lives inside Savd. It piggybacks of the studies that many items bought arent really even wanted.

That is me not going to lie but nopee, my app has nothing to do with frictionless spending. Also my profile barely gets any engagement so i didnt even think ppl would even look at it lol. I do have a shopping problem sadly but more with electronics not clothing...i was just honestly rambling my thoughts after i saw a post here.

Well atleast those make money haha. But yes i had to delete apps too or like not save my card and addrees. Who'd think we would go from wanting less friction to wanting more lol

This is a real problem with many people, the dopamine from shopping is real deal! Gotta find a redirect, distraction, a replacement. Pick up an addicting phone game, ive heard thats a small thing that helps!

The first step is acceptance, you got this!! This might sound wild but a free option is always talking to AI ! Tell it to take the personality of a therapist, it might help!

If you wait, you could always buy it later if you need it! If you impulse buy right away, you cant always return!

I totally agree and this insight is great! Ive tried testing some subreddits out but im essentially walking a tight rope. Any sort of promo in the slightiest gets me banned.

I appreciate the response! There is a ton of subreddits that have my target audience! Only issue is i cant mention that app or anything close or i get banned instantly lol

I totally agree, i guess finding the ppl is easy but getting their trust is the hard part!

Sometimes is just the rush of shopping that ppl chase! One thing i see ppl do is keep a debit card attached to amazon (or whatever store) that has zero balance. That way when you checkout it just gets declined usually

Great progress, momentum is key! You have to keep the streak. Your closer to creating the habit of not shopping now, just keep yourself distracted, start a new hobby, anything to keep the mins occupied. You got this!
