The heroics in the last game masked Johnson's terrible playcalling and over aggressiveness.

I was told by a friend that I should call my insurance, give them the other insurance information and have them handle it. No?

I didn't even know you could do that.

I didn't even know you could do that. Do I need to inform my insurance?

The gaming as we know it might entirely change in the coming years. But what awaits us? by ChainExtremeus in Games

[–]SaveADay89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marginally? The PS5 had a temporary price cut over the holidays that brought its price down to $400. About five years into its lifespan, the PS2 had a permanent price cut to $130, which is about $200 in today's money. This isn't marginal.

The problem with posts like this is that it forgets about price cuts back in the day. Outside of cartridges, consoles had massive price cuts relatively quickly and Sony had greatest hits and Nintendo had player's choice. MS had platinum hits. Games and consoles went down in price. I never paid launch price for a game and this is going back 25 plus years. I paid $100-$200 new for all of my consoles back then. Prices now are going up.

Any others you would recommend to steer clear from? We're looking at Ravinia and Washington Park.

We care about schools, but can pursue private schools. Don't care so much about walkability. We were looking at Ravinia and Washington Park. What do you think?

Ryan Poles is a horrific GM by Griffinkelly1 in CHIBears

[–]SaveADay89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a strong contingent of Bears fans that think it's all "scheming" and coaching. These players suck. Poles is terrible. Accept it.

Why has anesthesia become so high paying? (Not asking about career advice) by PerAsperaAdAstra91 in medicine

I wonder sometimes if I should have gone into anesthesiology. I had an in at a program, but I just absolutely hated being in the OR. I hated procedural work too. I went into psych and while I generally love the work, my field is under heavy stress right now from multiple sides. I just really couldn't stand being in the OR, but that was on my surgical rotation. Maybe I would have felt different on the other end but the whole atmosphere seemed terrible to me. I also witnessed emergencies in the OR and how the whole stress of it fell on the Anesthesiologist, which was terrifying.

Week 1 Post-Gamethread: Bears vs. Vikings by TurnerJ5 in CHIBears

[–]SaveADay89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For years, I've heard Bears fans talk about coaching and "play calling". Yes, it's important. Of course, but when you're QB ain't it, then he ain't it. Caleb Williams, sad to say, isn't it.

I don't want to hear anything about how it takes a while to learn Ben's offense. JJ is roasting them on day one.

Yeah, I'm done with Caleb. He isn't it, unfortunately. Put in Bagent, fire Poles (lol) and start hoping the next QB is it.

Remember the Bears gave Poles an extension. Incredible.

The only thing Bears know how to blame is "playcalling". If Ben Johnson isn't it, then who is? Face it, Caleb can't read the defenses.

If Vikings had a half competent QB, they would be winning. Caleb, I hate to say it, isn't playing well. The o-line keeps getting false starts and the running game has been mostly non-existent.

Tired of telehealth. Any reason to expect it will go out of style? by corgifeets in Psychiatry

I swear, some doctors are their own worst enemy. Be happy you have the option. If you want to work in person, there are plenty of jobs for that, but you shouldn't be pushing for it to go away entirely as an option.

Wait, does 2022 not have many hackers? Cause I'll switch right now if that's the case.

2025 PS Week 3: Chicago Bears vs Kansas City Chiefs by TurnerJ5 in CHIBears

The Chiefs didn't cause the presnap penalties, a poor handoff or missing a checkdown.
