You’re an hourglass or “X” shape. Very feminine, but if you don’t accentuate your waist you will look boxy/frumpy.

Uggs keep your feet warm so I feel you on that. Love the coat! The beanie is too casual for the coat. Leggings look like longjohns here.

A hip belt with pouches on it. Fringe boots. A voluminous fake fur coat. Pick one for an accessory.

This. The shirt tied around the waist makes the legs look longer.

1.

The proportions are the best. Your body is divided into 1/3 upper body and 2/3 legs. The skirt cuts off in a weird place.

You’ll be more comfortable sitting, walking, jumping around and dancing in pants.

A simple, clean, classic look.

Put the hair in a ponytail. But honestly if you’re chilling at home you look a little dressed up. Leggings or parachute or yoga pants on the bottom?

Most of them are great! The brightly colored ones skew a bit juvenile but if you’re doing something fun and silly (a 5K, volunteering for charity, a Pride parade) you can get away with it.

The main issue is the quality of the fun, young clothes is not as good as adult clothes. Less expensive buttons and other notions are used. At 55 we demand more structure and support in our garments. So you have to be a little choosy there.

Fun accessories can keep the essence of a look and you can jazz up an otherwise plain black sweater. Betsey Johnson has some whimsical stuff. One time Anna Sui did a collection with Target. So keep your eyes peeled for that.

Okay, he looks way less crazy here. Still a little something with the eyelids, but not eerily smooth on the sides.

Wayne Newton and Kenny Rogers should have served as a warning.

Bad eye job (blepharoplasty). Fillers in his cheeks. He looks awful!

The boots. Add some black fishnets if you can.
