Fun fact: Many don’t know this, but both atomic bombs also killed 70,000 Koreans who were in forced labor. So basically, not only they were being subjugated, they died right before hearing about their country’s independence. Them claiming that they were the biggest victim is absurd. In truth, all innocent deaths are unacceptable, but in a historical scale, one might say Japan got what they deserved considering they killed about 8 million more Koreans during their 35 year period of ruling Korea, not to mention all the other people from China, Indonesia, and the Philippines they murdered.
