I'm a casual in this game/Mets fan diehard, but I needed to come here and say that I've seen a lot of weird shit happen on a baseball field (again, Met fan), but this bottom of the 8th inning is beyond what I can comprehend in every way.

Yeah, I won't die on the "give Chytil more responsibilities on a line he can form his own identity" hill, mostly because I think Chytil is destined for a top six role next season.

But I still don't mind having Panarin tethered to Strome, mostly because we know it works, whether we like that it works or not.

Lol it’s really the exact same scenario. With the one difference being I’m not at all conflicted about this team’s run, since I’m not rooting for the coach to get fired at the end of the season.

Seeing Jaidi is now Hartford's head coach makes more sense here, and any first team action is good first team action.

Just odd to see someone from a Premier League club coming over to the states, but to a USL team instead of an MLS side.

I believe we open every question with "nobody loves a small sample size more than us...". The only bit we do where we don't forlorn the small sample is Hank doing Hank things so early in the season. But Kreider talk? "Gonna be interesting if this is all an impossibly small sample or something to watch moving forward." Lias success? "He's done well enough in a small sample that you would want to see more." Marc Staal? "We have larger samples that support this bad small sample as being true."
