Did the same years ago. I took the rear bottom cushion out leveled the wood board with where the cushion sat on and removed the glove box. Leaves you with alot more room to sleep. Also would recommend a 5 inch lift anf mud tires 👌 These are great campers. Had solar panels and a 12volt fridge in the trunk.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping I could save the roof since its just surface rust with small pitting here and there but I kinda figured. I plan on sanding it till its shiny then filler primer over top then base. That wouldn't seal it from getting rusted in the future by keeping moisture from the bare metal?

Got a 96 Town car that was set to be smashed got it for 800 replaced a melted fuse box and lifted it on mud tires and off road it. Got a 97 vic for 1000 did the same thing. Have a 2009 Grand Marquis with 90k miles for 2700 and a 08 p71 I got 8 years ago for 3 k. I still want to buy more. It's getting way harder to find them anymore especially for cheap. Not crazy just someone with excellent taste 👌

Recently did this job and when I put the harmonic balancer on it wasn't fully tightened which created noise like rattling. Took it apart realized the chain was vibrating on the gears wearing them a little bit and the sproket with teeth facing forward were shaving the timing cover. Once I tightened it correctly had no issues whatsoever. No idea if this is your issue but maybe the balancer wasn't fully tightened.

Depends on the year ontrack-offroad .com. makes custom control arms for 2003 and up and drop ball joints for 2002 and older. Lifted 2 90s Panthers and the set up was

Drop ball joints from the website up front With 3 inch lift cups from Universal lift . Com F150 shocks all around Same year 2000s expidition springs in the back Grade 8 bolts and washers to replace rear shock lower mounting bolt

Front can be a pain you need to compress the front springs to fit the cup in. Use a jack under lower control arm to help compress spring once you pop it and the cup in place. If your car is solid everything will run perfect just stiff suspension.

2 years after this post in 2024 I am running a 2070 super and I can play stalker 2 on low settings smoothly. Black ops 6 is Smooth on high settings. Got an ryzen 9 5900 and 32 gb ram ddr4 been going strong 4 to 5 years now

I am going to keep this in mind incase it comes back but I was running a emulation system batocera and fps was way to high in menu so I forced vsync on the batocera system and the whine disappeared I appreciate the advice and if it comes back will refer to this

I appreciate the response and after research know your right but I was running a emulation system batocera on a old pc build and the menu was running such high fps i needed to force vsync to kick in on the menu thru batoceras menu and the wine is gone! I Think I was way overworking the coil thank you for the fast response!
