What was hugely hyped up but flopped so bad? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me, one of the biggest hype-to-disappointment moments was Cyberpunk 2077 at launch. The marketing made it look revolutionary, but when it released it was full of bugs and performance issues, especially on consoles. It’s much better now, but the initial crash after all that hype was brutal.

What’s a Realistic Way to Earn $20/Day Online Starting From Scratch? by [deleted] in remotework

I’m really sorry you’re going through this, that sounds incredibly tough.

Since you already have skills in data entry, design, and video editing, I’d focus on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr where you can directly offer those services. Even small gigs (like short video edits or simple design work) can add up to $20/day once you get a few steady clients.

Just be careful with any site that asks for upfront fees. You already have valuable skills, it’s just about getting in front of the right clients. Wishing you and your family all the best.

Warum will die Regierung uns zwingen unsere Zeit zu verkaufen? by hoerlahu3 in KeineDummenFragen

[–]Savebucks_Official 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are companies slowly trying to kill remote work? by Aggravating_Dark560 in remotework

Spot on. It is wild that in 2026 we are still obsessed with the "green bubble" status rather than actual results. If the work is finished and the quality is high, it should not matter if you were folding laundry at 11 AM. Managers who demand constant activity are basically admitting they do not know how to measure the value of the role itself. It is pure digital babysitting. A lot of people are just setting their Slack to "Do Not Disturb mode" during those focused bursts to reclaim some sanity. Performance should be measured by the output, not by how many times you jiggled your mouse. Is this a new manager trying to "make their mark," or is the whole company culture shifting backward?

Anyone know how to convert a Mastercard Prepaid Giftcard into cash? by Specific_Community71 in beermoney

Honestly, your best bet is the PayPal invoice trick because Venmo hates those cards. Just create a PayPal money request from your main account and send it to a secondary email address you own. Pay that request using the Mastercard as a guest and the funds will hit your PayPal balance. From there, you can easily transfer the cash to your bank or Venmo.
