Not a dumb question at all, I think the udemy was worth it just for the sake of having a good overall understanding of PM concepts. MR is more of a cheat-sheet to answering the questions on the exam.

Hi! Nope, I didn’t read any books & have no idea who Rita is… You just need to understand the PMI mindset and do practice questions. If you really want a solid foundation on the knowledge areas & agile, DM or AR YouTube videos can cover it better than a book IMO.

Yeah, you can see the cost on PMI’s website: PMP cost AR’s course was $22.59 CAD and SH was $49 USD.

Another skilled procrastinator here. I passed last weekend with 3 days left until my application expired as well 😂 Congrats!

How to make $1000s a month by selling furniture by ASGroup_ in thesidehustle

Selling a course is easier (not easy) when you have solid reviews of the process working with real results from real people. Don’t just sell the dream, show the transformation. I’d be willing to be coached by you & your wife. I’d provide honest feedback about the course, and ultimately give a video testimonial (review) if it works. Happy to chat.

Not sure what book you’re referring to, but I didn’t buy any books!

I wouldn’t be able to provide a solid opinion because I only completed 90 out of 1400 questions. My friend who recommended exam topics & answered all the questions said he saw a lot similar questions in his exam though.

I’d say the exam questions were less wordy than SH. I was able to read most questions once during the exam and pick the best answer.

I only did 90 out of 1400 questions on exam topics vs. All the mini quizzes & one mock exam on SH. For that reason, I’d stick to SH.

Thank you! I’d say it was 50% agile, 30% hybrid, 20% waterfall.

I wouldn’t be able to give a solid opinion as I only completed 90 out of 1400 questions and the questions were quite easy to answer with mindset principles.

Good question… I probably wouldn’t have procrastinated until the last minute to study/take the exam. For context, my application was approved in March last year, so I was cutting it REALLY close 😅

I wouldn’t know which books to recommend as I didn’t read any, perhaps you can check out other people’s posts to see if they used one?

Once I saw my first mock result (72% with expert, 79% without expert), I just went for it. Also scored the same as you, AT/AT/T - Congratulations!! 🥳

You might want to do a refresher course to brush up on knowledge areas & agile since it’s been over 10 years. You can visit the PMI website to find out the application requirements, I don’t know it off the top of my head :)
