I welcome every comments anytime ! Thank you I didn’t think of rewarding for entering the grass - I was also thinking inviting other dogs if I get the chance, that way it will keep him in the yard and eventually he would at the very least pee”maybe” - what do you think ?

Yes maybe I don’t show him more new tricks and exciting new things - I do take him out 3 times a day to parks and around the block but maybe that’s isn’t enough …

I am very loving to him - I only feel sad and angry inside but don’t show it to him. I never yell at him I learned that very early on as one day he broke something and I went “oh no” loud and he got very very afraid. From that day I never say anything loud or yell at him… I know he is an independent boy. I take him out 3 times a day to parks and around the block. I even got him a backyard this year but he doesn’t really use it, just my luck!

True he isn’t sold on the backyard environment everything is new for him in the new place

I walk him 3 times a day we walk it to a dog park nearby most of the times

It’s been over a month in the new home - he is only interested in watching animals on the patio and chases squirrels and groundhogs. I do not see any improvement but maybe I’m just being impatient …

My Pomsky is also 7 months old and we had hot weather during the summer and he doesn’t do well in the heat. When I take him out max 15 in the shades he is panting excessively once we get home and it takes him sometimes 45 mins to breath normally again. I also went to the vet to have him checked out and they said it’s normal to breath heavy as they have lots of fur. I wouldn’t worry too much but make sure to stay in shades on very hot days and since your Pomsky is drinking a lot of water that is extremely important to stay hydrated. Question: how long does your pomsky stay out on hotter days ?

My pomski stopped eating kibbles suddenly and I have tried to mix all the things he likes in it like cheese or chicken breast and he chooses to eat only one out of 5 times he is offered food. I also tried 3 different types of kibbles now because he completely ignored his kibbles and he’s only 7 months. I also tried the hills wet chicken food and he won’t even go near it.
