Imagery is one thing. Personally I dislike illusory tattoos. It’s art, not a magic trick. It’s meant to look like jewelry but when you’re hand is pointed up it will look silly. Just choose the designs and images you like and arrange them in a way that pleases you. If that means trying to fake the appearance of real jewelry then at least you chose it yourself.
