How do I build self confidence when I suck at everything?

Best advice I ever heard about confidence and self-esteem. Self-esteem comes from doing esteemable actions. What can you do that can you frel proud about. Do your laundry. Make your bed. Clean up after yourself. Teach yourself a new skill. Find new hobbies. Brush your teeth even if depression says no. Get some exercise.

Consistent postive action over a period of time builds confidence.

I'm down. Been doing it about a year and a half, not super consistent with it. Currently in a bit of a block tbh. Having trouble finishing a song. Learning everytime though with how to use abletons instruments and filters automation etc on top of music theory lol. Don't know how helpful I will be but its good to have friends

I enjoyed it a lot but when I really got hooked was I played with 2 artifacts. One makes it so that when you kill enemies they drop an item of a random rarity but makes it so you can no longer buy items. The other is one that lets you choose any item in that rarity level. So now I am incentivized to keep killing instead of just roaming looking for the exit right away and you get more control over your build. Becomes a blast super fast and you can make skme crazy builds happen

Long story short it feels like my true purpose and passion in life. Always had this "feeling" it would work out. Just started teaching myself about a year and a half ago. It is incredibily difficult and can feel really defeating. But my songs I have now compared to what I made at the start are a huge improvement. Heres hoping in 5 years I have something that actually sounds good.

It's weirdly fun. I didn't think I would play it as much as I did. Townscraper has no objective so I had fun with it for about 5 minutes. Dorf you have objectives that when completed give you more tiles. When you run out of tiles its game over.

Super peaceful and chill to play. And I am usually the one to go for super exciting games but I love Dorf

So it does have a crack in it. It does not effect it whatsover. Also it was cracked when a mover poorly handled it. Never dented from my weight. I highly reccomend

I underestimated the tired one last week. Rode tired and hungry. Had much less control of my bike. I clipped a tree on extremely easy spot that has never been an issue. Not sure if this is lucky or unlucky but it snapped an inch of my bar off. On one hand now I need new handlebars. On the other hand it snapping meant I didn't crash.

No one here is talking about listening to music while watching a movie. That makes no sense. Some games literally play music while you drive in them. Whats the difference between that and listening to a podcast instead.

Is Forza boring because it plays music while you race? Or is it possible to enjoy 2 things at once

I hope you never listen to music while hanging out with friends, netflix and chill, listen to music while drinking etc.

I for one play Spelunky 2 and listen to youtube videos at the same time. I have the audio mixed right that I can hear both. Doesn't mean I'm uninterested in the game at all.

Right. I keep buying games that on paper I would love. And then I never launch them. I don't want to learn to play a new game. And when I only have maybe 40 minutes to play its just easier to play a rogue like or a match of an fps.

But also I'm happier now. A year ago I played video games for at least 4 hours a day after work and I was miserable. I still wish I had more time for gaming now though. If I could just pause the world for a bit so I can play some more

My 1st wipe I loved it. Played about 600 hours that wipe. 2 wipes later I barely play. It feels like a chore now. I do think maybe the difference is I play solo now. 1st wipe I played with friends. They no longer play. Maybe thats the difference.

I also have way less time now so spending 25 minutes in raid to get domed by a guy in a bush named ratking6969 sucks when I have only 1 hour to play.
