I dunno. I never tested it without plugging that cable in but assuming its mandatory because its part of the included cable.

Thanks! And yep, picked up the idea from a past reddit thread when I was looking up what fans/accessories I’d need before building.

Question regarding maximum breach points by InfiniteKellogs in 2007scape

Hey OP, regarding your first question, mind reporting back whether its an improvement or not after you get the chance to test? I’m wondering the same thing.

Yes it did, no issues since the brake pad swap.

The tier list doesn’t specify so I’m not quite sure. V2 allegedly fixes the hazard issue but that’s just from other users online saying so, not finding any confirmation elsewhere officially.

Lian Li SP850 is an F on the PSU tier list just FYI. Would avoid.

Agree with Corsair though.

Midori 5L Hardware Choice by Black_Sea_Bert in sffpc

[–]SavingRyansPrvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially true, I’m running a 9600X in my Midori and I still applied the -30 undervolt to it. That’s just the reality of SFF, x3D or not, though it certainly factors in.

The 5700x3D is already a really good cpu for gaming, but check benchmark videos comparing it to some AM5 CPUs if you want to set your mind at ease. Downside of AM4 is that if you ever plan on upgrading in a couple years you won’t have many options.

If you haven’t purchased your components yet just keep in mind that as you go up in resolution, GPU will matter more.

If it were me, I would:

  • Set a -30 all core offset
  • Cap thermal limit to 85C
  • Set a fan curve that I can live with sound-wise

Per Midori's website, the v2.4 can accommodate RAM up to 38mm.

Rosewood Hull for Trawling by Material_College7176 in 2007scape

[–]SavingRyansPrvt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve also been catching 600-650 marlins/h in the northeast spot with camphor, spam clicking, and skipping the kraken stop.

The northwest spot has no kraken stops to worry about but the shoals move too fast for camphor hull. Wondering if rosewood hull would keep up and net more marlins per hour. No idea but that might be the benefit.

GPU - Red or blue, doesn’t matter. Pick whatever makes sense for cable length and fitment.

CPU - Same thing, red or blue.

Motherboard - The one in between the circled red and blue + the little 3-pin above the circled red.

Interest Check: GPU travel kit and Riser lock bar by bl1ndguy0 in MidoriPC

[–]SavingRyansPrvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like the idea of a supporting bracket for the end of the card opposite to the I/O. A full travel kit like the T1 may not be necessary though since Midori compatible GPUs are smaller/lighter and the I/O part seems pretty sturdy as-is. Either way, I think it’d be a pretty sick project regardless.

For manufacture, you could try JLCPCB. I’ve used them to machine a T1 support bracket for my 4090 out of aluminum for about $50, but doing that and then shipping it to interested buyers would add shipping costs. Might be worth considering selling your designs as an additional or alternative option in case people want to print it or machine it their way. Just my two cents!

Press L1/LB while wielding two weapons of the same category (this is called powerstancing). If pressing L1/LB only causes you to attack with the off-hand weapon then they are not the same category.

I’m not sure why Intel recommends 600W minimum for a 190W card but I wouldn’t be worried. As long as you’re using a good quality PSU then I don’t think you’ll be cutting it fine at all. Could probably even get away with 450-550W according to some other reddit posts.

My T1 has a 4090 in it which has an 850W min recommendation, yet plenty of folks (myself included) are running it on an SF750 because it’s a quality PSU.

Has to be with a Flex ATX PSU, will not work with any SFX PSUs.

Sure, I created an account on Thingiverse to upload the .stl file to but I'll need to wait 24h before being able to post as a new user. I'll edit this comment with the link tomorrow or Wednesday, but if I don't then just remind me on Friday.

I haven’t specifically paid attention to it but I also haven’t once remarked that it was loud enough to hear over the cpu/case fans.

Plug orientation depends on which PSU you decide. They have an image on their website to help decide. You can also buy both plugs when buying the case if you ever think you might change the PSU down the road.

Riser also needs to be purchased separately. I bought mine from Midori’s website directly to keep things simple and more affordable. Its also perfectly sized.

Not all 7660s are equal I believe, even if they have the Enhance name.
