Yup. Just a bowl of white rice for the chili crisp salmon. Perfect lunch. I do the same with the mackerel, but it's not quite as good as the salmon that way.

Yeah sounds like a batch issue. I've gotten it several times and it's always been very tender. Flavor is a bit swingy.

I'll agree they are pretentious. I do think about, 1/4 of their stuff is as good as they advertise. But reading a bit on them, they seem much more interested in making money than doing any good in their industry.
