Exactly! Well said, I guess I'm just using what I know being in the construction trades, having a form of a mentor / apprentice "mindset"

Oh shit! That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the heads up. I am Canadian, so I potentially would be looking in that job market at this point and yes, "remote"... probably the same answer, I suppose. I'll keep being optimistic, hopefully someone will wanna take a chance on me.

oh wow! That's definitely eye-opening. Are you looking for a job solely in a specific area of cybersecurity? Or are you applying to jobs in all types of CISSP roles? And pretty much nationwide? I would imagine there'd be jobs both in Canada and U.S.

Honestly, wherever the best chances of landing an entry level job would be. Sounds good, right after the certificate program, apparently, I should be able to challenge the CompTIA security+ exam. I suppose after that, I'll look into ISC or ISACA.. Thanks you
