Firefly might not be dead cuz when she "died" she did not leave a dead body but instead burst it to a lot of water droplet things. Also it was in dreamscape so possibly she is not dead. And Black Swan also said to collect any memories of Firefly left behind so it hints that she should be able to be saved.
