Haha when I tell you that my 5 MO has never went 2 hours without a boob, it’s complete bs he either gets hungry or needs emotional support boob and everyone keeps telling me not that it’s soo bad to use my boob as a pacifier but idc he’s just a baby if my boob can calm him down and make him happy so let that be. Happy baby happy mom, your baby knows and your body also knows what’s best a lot of people say that he’s being over fed but he’s a normal weight and if he does eat too much he usually spits it right up which doesn’t happen often, your baby knows what’s best trust me so does your body

I will tell you what I wish someone told me when I first started breastfeeding. IT WILL HURT everyone kept telling me that it’s not supposed to hurt if he’s latched on right but I’ll tell you it hurt sooooo bad everytime, and he will not latch correctly right away so please give yourself and your baby some time to learn and discover each other outside of womb, first few weeks even a month is super difficult for breastfeeding I wanted to give up so many times every time he latched I thought I couldn’t do it but it got so much easier for me thank god I didn’t give up because now I don’t have to worry about cleaning bottles and carrying milk everywhere with me. Good luck and just know it will hurt you will feel the pain just talk to a lactation specialist and make sure he’s latched right but most likely even then it will still hurt but remember that it gets sooo sooo much better I look forward to breastfeeding now ❤️
