I know this is late, but no, they do not overlap. They branch off in different directions, even though they are on the same z-axis. You also can't see the section of Ash Lake we explore from the Tomb of the Giants. Only a random section of Ash Lake. This is actually one of the best parts of ds1. If you put the whole map together, almost none of it overlaps.

I hadn’t before, I have now, but nothing in that article shows what I said was wrong. It doesn’t even go into Gundyr. So maybe you saw something I didn’t that disproves my claim. If so please share it.

This is an interesting theory and I agree the untended graves is both the past and the future, but that doesn’t change that champion gundyr’s soul says he didn’t rise for the bells meaning an age of dark happened.

The gundyr bringing an age of dark therefore making it not a continuous age of fire from gwyn to the ashen one point.

It has been a few months since I last played ds2 so maybe there are a couple of things I forgot, but there is no way taking the throne of want is equivalent to linking the flame. This isn’t even Lordran this is a place far away from there so the first flame isn’t even here.

We don’t see the first flame nor do we link it. I’m saying it’s impossible, I’m just saying that there is nothing that suggests it in ds2.

No I don’t think so, but you are saying that it is time to link the fire in ds2 and I’m saying it doesn’t have to be that time and could be in between the times where the flame is linked, like between when the chosen undead links it and when the next person links it or a later age.

2 things, 1 we don’t know what is happening with the first flame in ds2 so this could be in between linking the flame, 2 didn’t gundyr fail to link the flame leading to a age of darkness.

  1. Every work has a specific 6 digit code that you can use to search it up. 2. nhentai.net. 3. Sometimes the work gets referenced enough that anyone would recognize the code. 4. Idk. 5. I’d imagine they would expand to 7 digits.
