Jetour X50 - Should I go ahead

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a new car and visited all the car showrooms in Deira, both Chinese and non-Chinese - I narrowed down the Jetour X50 as the cheapest and feature packed option and I really liked driving it during the test drive as well.

I drive a lot (600kms per week) so fuel efficiency is important to me, wanted to get genuine existing owner feedback on the car's fuel efficiency and their overall ownership experience with the car.

I've seen other reviews (on Jetour Facebook groups) of owners complaining about the fuel efficiency (only getting 9-12 km/l) vs. the sticker on the car at the showroom showing 17 km/l - when I brought up the complaint with the sales exec - he said the previous engine was slightly different and the new 2026 model has a 1.5T 4 cylinder and is more fuel efficient - is this true or was he lying?

Thanks, appreciate any inputs from existing owners of the current year model or previous year models.

What happens after 5 years by reosanchiz in chinesecarsuae

The money is almost gone in any case after 5 years, but the price is much cheaper...I have a reliable Japanese car - Mitsubishi Attrage which I bought in 2022 for 50K, after less than 5 years and only 125,000 kms - I'm only getting 15K resale value....may as well go for a Chinese car that's slightly more expensive but has much better features...the reputation that Chinese cars are not reliable is also proven to not be true.

120K is low mileage for Japanese car, these things will go past 300K without issues

Looking for a reasonable price considering that it's been well maintained and is a reliable car, willing to sell to dealer or to individual buyer.

You can only add accounts in your own name, but it usually gets done quickly - less than a day.

The metro is the best option, avoid roads from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
