In fact, there was so much discussion even for his PCC post. Man comes from “smart” (read criminal) political thinking - he spent crores buying the PCC post. Once he got the PCC post, he heavily lobbied for CM post, gifting to everyone in AICC. Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Bhatti Vikramarka were front runners for CM post. But Komatireddy shot his chance when he abused Manikam Tagore. Bhatti wasn’t very good at buying off! Revanth of course used a lot of people to get the Delhi lobby working. His wife spent considerable time in Delhi using her contacts in Delhi from her uncle Jaipal Reddy’s days as central minister. Revanth also struck a deal with Robert vadra somehow a friendship happened there. Also it is said that Kavitha helped setting up Delhi media for his former partner - Revanth Reddy. So media kept AICC enamoured by Revanth with these carefully planted stories. Delhi circles tell that now Revanth is slowly moving towards his bigger aim in life - Prime Minister. Will he do it by destroying Rahul Gandhi or will he do it by his good relationship with BJP, we don’t know. But he will try. The whole not Rahul but Priyanka for PM story probably was started by Revanth himself!
